Offbeat � - Hybrid 30W Water-Proof Bluetooth Speaker with Powerbank

Awesome product! Awesome Bass, Awesome Clarity... I had listened to a lot of sub-6k Bluetooth speakers (including those from high-value brands). Though they all have loudness & clarity, they all were missing the Bass/Depth effect. And one can't enjoy the music in its totality if Bass effect is missing.This speaker has it all... Loudness + Bass + Clarity of sound. I'm completely satisfied with the product.Thanks to all the earlier reviewers! It's based on your candid reviews that I went for buying this product. These are my initial reviews of the product. Need to wait-and-see how it performs in the long run...Pros:1. Loudness2. Bass3. Clarity4. Hands-free calling functionality5. Power Bank functionality (8800 mAh)6. Quick Charging7. Water Proof design (not for COMPLETE immersion in water, though). So you need not hesitate to place it on your bathroom shelf during shower ;)8. Best in its class (sub-6000 rupees)Cons:1. USB-in/MicroSD slot (for direct plug-and-play) missing. However you won't miss this feature much if you own an OTG drive2. Music, when played from my mobile using Aux cable, sounded ~30% less loud (at Max volume levels) when compared to the same music played using Bluetooth connectivity (I've no idea why!). However, Bluetooth being wireless, is the more preferred mode and convenient than connecting through Aux cable.3. A bit on the heavier side (~1.6 kg), so definitely not for those who seek to hand-hold it while dancing :P

Update:Received the new speaker in place of my old one since the PCB was faulty(as told by offbeat support team).(touch buttons were not working as described, charging problem, bluetooth connectivity issues)After using offbeat speaker for a long time, my experience is..Pros:1. Sound is loud enough for a master bedroom.2. Mid and Highs are excellent. Bass is above average. Passive radiators need to be stronger.3. Battery life- gives 7+hours easily at 70% volume4.Service quality- After I emailed the support team, I received the response on the same day. I had to mail the speaker back(Rs. 500 parcel extra over the buying price of Rs.7000( when i bought 6 months ago) !!). Received a new speaker in under 15 days.5. Can handle water splashes , no problem.Cons:1. Bluetooth still not able to hold a continuous connection at times . Sometimes its jittery when i walk between the source and speaker(both at a distance of 5 metres)2. Bass needs to be strongerDo note: I have not used it as power bank, not checked Aux connectivity, not connected through NFC and not used it for calling purposes.I use it purely for listening to music and movies.Hope the device doesn't fail after 6 months since my warranty will expire!!Old reviewFault after 5 months use:(Aug 2017- Jan 2018)Have been using since 5 months. Battery is not charging anymore. LED charging light switches on for few minutes and goes off. High price for poor battery (8800mah)which does not last even for a year!Also, bluetooth connectivity is bad. Connectivity cuts at 5 metres. Inferior Bluetooth chipset.not as advertised.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - REPLACEMENT STOPPED WORKING WITHIN A WEEKThe product developed a fault within 5 month despite careful usage. The inbuilt battery is not charging fully. The charging light turns off within a few minutes and the speaker starts producing a high pitch hissing noise. I have used this product very carefully with spike protector and UPS. I use it as a speaker for my laptop. Never used it in a rugged manner for which this product is built. Disappointed. A very high priced speaker which does not live up to expectation.UPDATE: After complaining the speaker was replaced. I incurred courier cost of Rs 600 for returning defective speaker. The replacement speaker developed a similar problem and has completely stopped working.

Friends. this product is good, delivery is good,Sound is good, clear and fine.BUT where is the bass , its is described that it is having two(02No's) bass radiators, but i didn't find any bass effect for this price range.Above good remarks can be obtained with less price range of products comparing this one.I paid 6000rs for just high sound speaker box with no bass effects.Guys think before buying.Yet it has nice sound.

Good sound...great bass..cute handle to for easy portability, value for money. on time delivery. only negative was I did not receive a copy of user manual. Hope you will send it to me. Not sure if this is the right place to ask for it though. please send me the user manual. Thanks

I have purchased it seeing the 5 star reviews. The charging time as per the manual is 6 hours but the speaker got charged within one hour. The longevity of the battery is doubtful. The Possibility of getting after sales service is also difficult for want of sufficient number of service centers. Pairing with bluetooth device is easy. Sound quality is just above average. The RMS is stated as 30 W but it does not sound to be true,it would be around 20 W.I have been using SONY XRS X55 bluetooth speaker 30 W purchased from Amazon for the past two years. The performance of SONY set is far superior to this one. 30 W RMS output of SONY speaker is much louder compared to this speaker. There is no provision to control bass in the speaker. Voice clarity is missing while playing some MP3 files.Price of SONY XRS X55 speaker is Rs.17000/- but this speaker costs below Rs.6000/-. Considering the cost factor performance of this speaker is good. SONY has got service net work throughout the country. THe possibility of getting after sales service is also another issue for the purchasers.
