Young Dental 234225 2 Tone Disclosing Solution (Pack of 250)

I bought these tablets for my young nieces and nephew who believe that the appropriate way to brush their teeth is to lick the toothpaste and then declare themselves done. Since they're picky, I opted to try the product before giving it to their mother. I wish I hadn't.The flavor is atrocious. It's been 15 minutes and I still can't get the flavor out of my mouth. My tongue, despite following all instructions, turned a strange shade of blue. I have scrubbed it and gargled and rinsed, and still my tongue has not returned to its normal color.As for its disclosing properties, I simply did not see them reveal anything at all.

It does what it suppose to do. But it's quite messy. Probably also because my kids are younger (6 and 8), after they spit, I have to deal with the stain (sink, counter top and their PJs).We only do spot checks once in a while, 250 tablets probably will last for a long long time.

These are not like the ones I remember that would truly stain plaque and not disappear until the plaque was gone. And one of the colors they use for indication is red which is useless as some people have red where the gum is irritated by the plaque. Don't waste your money on this brand.

Great product for promoting good dental hygiene. My son likes these and checks himself that he's done a good job. He often presents his teeth for inspection (and there's no cheating since these temporarily dye the tongue and gums as well as the teeth).

They definitely work! My kids tend to rush through brushing. One of them is already cavity-prone, so that is NOT good! This doesn't allow them to rush...it "tells on them" if they miss ANYTHING! (And I don't have to stand over them the whole time.)

I tried these and after biting down dye exploded in my mouth. You couldn't tell where plaque was, all you saw was red dye. I had to clean out my sink b/c it stains. Don't buy!

works great for my daughter and her braces. Lets her know that she is brushing properly.

The tabs worked well for my kids. Leaves a stain for a bit, but a good visual for the kids to zero in on.
