They year is 1858 in Carson City, Nevada. You have rounded up a team of courageous cowboys, and your plan is to buy up the best parcels of land in this new town, then build them up with the most prosperous ranches, mines, saloons, etc. Carson City: Big Box is a collection of the Carson City base game, the Gold & Guns and the Horses & Heroes expansion. The game board has been redesigned and updated to support a sixth player and the Horses & Heroes expansion. The game is played in four rounds, and in each on of them, the players choose one of the characters, which give certain advantages. When several players claim the same action, a duel is fought, and the player with most firepower wins the action. In the end, the most prominent citizen in Carson City, as measured by victory points that can be won during and after the game, wins.

Great worker placement game.
Have only played a few times so far and like the game but found a few issues. My daughter likes the game as well and for some reason wants to get as many roads as possible and by the last round we are out of roads. This is not an issue with playing with others however their are other issues like the building revenues printed on the squares don't go as high as what they are capable of. I use the max on the building square as the max and don't bother with figuring out value over that to reduce confusion. A good idea might be to use a value token of some kind or poker chips to place on the building to indicate a value over the max. Overall great game and look forward to playing all the variations.
