A helpful book for those wanting to avoid onions and garlic in their diet
It provides a good range of recipes in a clear and simple manner. The book is produced in India and sent from there. It is quite thin and flimsy by UK standards but it does the job. The one surprising thing about it (which needs correcting) is that the recipe for stock at the back of the book includes both onions and garlic!!

Well designed book
Avoiding alliums is difficult since they are ubiquitous in most ready made products. Even "natural ingredients" can contain extracts of onions/garlic so it narrows the choices down considerably. Home cooking with primary ingredients is the best way to avoid it all. In reading through this book, the format and photographs are well chosen and the instructions seem easy to understand and follow. Will be trying a few of the recipes soon.

Good book
First impressions, I wasn't particularly excited because the book I received kind of looked old or used. But the recipes this book has made me give it 5 🌟 . Great collection of recipes. Would be glad if there's a second volume for this book.

Overall Good Purchase
Nice book to try for different recipes... but surely could have been better. Few recipes are not up to the standard while others are good.

A UNIQUE COOKBOOK AND HARD TO FIND
For either religious or physical reasons or just to try something new, there is a large group of people who either do not want or can not have onion or garlic in their meals but who want to cook great meals.. This wonderful book is the answer to their prayers and concerns.Mr. Kapoor has a excellent reputation in the vegetarian cooking community and this book is a great book to have. Mr. Kappor is from India andsome of ingredients he writes about may not be well known to American audiences but discovering new foods is one of life's pleasures and substitutions are not always bad.This book is also very hard to find in your local book store so Amazon may be your only source.

Not what I expected
Great idea of a no onions or garlic cookbook but it wasn't what I was expecting... hoped for every day meals replacing alliums .... maybe I should write my own...
