I haven't tried it yet cause I just got it but it is 100% fresh. The smell is exquisite and the best part is you can make whatever you want! It can be a drink or a dessert like; matcha latter or mochi icecream. Recommend absolutely, especially if you dont have any stores near you to buy some.

I’ve been spending way to much money on Starbucks matcha lattes, so I decided to finally try to make them at home and best decision I ever made! It’s so good! Now I can make matcha lattes at home without draining my bank account and without all the sugar Starbucks adds to their matcha. Don’t hesitate to buy!

I didn’t know the difference between culinary grade and ceremonial grade when I got this. I had a different ceremonial matcha before this, compared them side by side and this one does not measure up. It smells dirty and weaker by comparison. My other ceremonial grade one smells sweeter, richer, cleaner, without the slightly bitter and dirty smell and taste. Color is more yellow green comparing to ceremonial grade too. I wouldn’t buy this again. The taste is not nearly as good as ceremonial grade matcha. I don’t use sweeteners so taste really matters.

I am partial to this brand as they have never failed me before. This matcha was a good price opposed to comparable vendors and even though it's a lower grade, it is still very good. This is a very good starter flavor if you are trying matcha for the first time. If you haven't tried this brand before, they are one of my favorite and have great customer service.

Great Matcha should be 100 percent shade-grown, but inquiries into whether this is 100 percent shade grown or just partially shade-grown (only shaded during the last portion of growing) have gone unanswered, leading me to think that it is not 100 percent shade grown. Taste is okay, not the best I've ever had, nor the worst. Decent price and nicely packaged.

Title says it all! I'd recommend this brand to EVERYONE!I love it so much, I get ALL my green tea from Vahdam now because I've never tasted such pure and flavorful green tea before (and I've tried a lot of teas). I pay full price for all my products, this isn't promotional or whatever.Seriously, I highly recommend their matcha and their green tea leaves! I support businesses like this because we need more quality in this world! Try it!

This is a revision to a previous review of mine. I initially received a fishy batch of Matcha, but the staff at Vadham were quick to reach out and rectify the situation. On replacement of my initial matcha order, oh my gosh, did things change. The flavors of the matcha are so rich, earthy, and just wonderful. I have been brewing this with a dash of cream and a little sweetening and it makes such a great treat. Do not pass this one up.

The packaging looked great. Very professional. The smell was odd, not what I am use to as an avid matcha fan. Very small amount but I should have paid better attention to the size. The flavor was weak and we tried it in steamed milk, steamed soy milk and as regular tea both sweetened with sugar and them with raw honey. We also made it without sugar. The taste was just ok. If I could return I would. Not enough to make me purchase again. Hoping it was just a one off situation.
