Works well good construction

I tried many vent and this one is the only one match the size of my window of crawl space. I used waterproof glue to attach vent with the window.

I noted a few reviews complaining that there is no backing screen. I don't think this is an issue. The openings on this vent are about the same size as the holes in the backing screen that was our old louver vents. They look good after being painted and blend in with the surrounding soffit.

Overall good vent. I wish it would have came with some screws for installation but oh well. It will do its purpose venting my attic.

The product does the job when you add an additional mesh along with it. Unlike some reviewers who said it is very flimsy, I saw that it is okay. You don't have to worry about breaking it during installation. It would stay in its place without any issues.I had to buy an additional mesh that goes behind it in the local hardware store, cut it to size and screwed both together. When you consider the cost of this item, and the additional mesh, it would come to almost 3 times the price of the similar item that you can buy locally.

I just replaced my old louver style vents with 25 of these. We have a lot of trees here that produce cotton in the summer and the grills on the old vents are challenging to clean and get all plugged up. Perfect solution here! They look good, painted up well with latex, no primer needed. BTW, the holes in these DuraFlo vents are no larger than the holes in the screens of the old vents. I had been concerned about bugs getting in too, but it will not be a problem. They are all laying nice and flat after being installed and there are no gaps along the edges. Nice product!
