I gave it 5 stars because this book does not only fill a child's mind with adventure,it also helps them learn of Greek mythology and also fill their minds with imagination! I would recommend this book and all other books in this series to all children who love action and adventure!

kids love it! for the price, you don't even want to wait for renting it from the library. esp. if you account for the times you see your kids re-reading this series. it was an excellent way to get my 3rd grader son to get into reading - and now within a year - he has graduated to the Rick Riordan series.

I think the girls should be agnoliged and Hesta should be ON the cover why is it all boys boys boys. I think hesta should be there with her torch on the cover. But the book is good and VERY action full. I recommend to any body

My 2nd grade son loves these and can't wait to the next one. Brings to life Greek mythology from the eyes of a child. great adventures and simply fun to read. Make sure you read the previous ones first. Highly recommend this series. I read it to my sin and I find the stories interesting :)

My son is a great reader, after he read the magic tree house series and dragon masters, it was hard to find something he liked. He loved these and was hooked, couldn't wait to get home from school to read.

My 12 year old loves it. He doesn't realize he is already learning mythology that he'll have to learn in High School

My 10 year old son loved it! He has to read 20 minutes each night for school, but I found him continually reading longer than that because he didn't want to put the book down. Thank you!

Excellent read for middle schools students to help them want to read the classic myths. Start with the first in the series and go from there.
