Great sword . Heavy , beautiful, sharp and dangerous. When I say heavy it’s very heavy some will have trouble swinging it with one hand until you get use to the weight. That said the weight is well balanced with a heavy pummel. It’s a full steel sword from tip to pummel. Very strong and well made. Ready to slay the invaders or destroy dragons out of the box .Handle grip is wrapped with crap leather …but it’s an easy enough task to wrap it in better leather. Not an issue for me.It’s a damn good sword .For this price I expected junk but this is a real deal battle sword that would chop a tree down if you wanted to and would easily cleave a head from the body of a villain or dragon .I’m Looking for a scabbard for the sword because it’s a very sharp sword and dangerous when carrying in a simple “frog” holster over your shoulder, on your back or at your side. Trip over this thing and you’ll lose a toe or two. Blunder into a friend with this thing dangling from your belt with the blade exposed is almost certainly gonna result in a trip to the hospital for stitches .It comes packed in stinking dirty smelly gross packing grease … be careful not to ruin your clothing, carpet , sofa or your wife’s favorite table cloth . Open it outside and wipe it off with paper towels. Grease wipes right of and smell is gone in an instant once the grimy grease is cleaned off.This is a real sword not a toy. It’s deadly out of the box .

This is a sharp hunk of steel, you can swing it at anything without breaking it, i used it to demolish furniture and the worst that happened was a slight bend that i fixed right away. 10/10 ive bought like 5 of these things for me and my friends

Its 30 bucks, for 30 bucks, its amazing. it says high carbon steel but its not, its mild, its got a primary and secondary bevel, its dull, so thats good for a showpiece or part of a costume but you're not using this to fight off the ottoman empire lol. All in all solid, just like in the picture. Would appreciate a tighter grip wrap but for 30 bucks man...its great, have it 4 stars instead of 5 cuz i was specifically looking for a high carbon blade so i can sharpen but other than that, neat...i do wish it came with any kind of storage case, sheath or something, it just comes in foil and bubble wrap but i do see they sell the sheath seperate for another 30 bucks but this works, i give it a thumbs up!

I'm not professional blacksmith nor a renfair geek. I'm a retired soldier become homesteader. This will look great on my wall and when I have invaders come I can run them thru.....no not like that. LIKE A VIKING!All BS aside , this is heavy steel, full tang.even if I wasn't happy with it, it's a headstart on a new sword. Other reviews say they redid handle because it was too large. I posted pics in my hand. I wear a large size glove but I don't have NFL tight end hands and I like the way it fits in my hand. I even beat it on some 2×4s to see if it was going to break. Didn't even roll the blade. My sword isn't sharpened but it's sharp in places where it was ground to put an edge on. Overall. For $35 it's a WoW you can't beat it.

Amazing value. It's like the common swords you would find in a RPG like Witcher. It's no Anduril, but it will get the job done. Buy this for practice and home defense. It can also hold its edge when striking hard wood. Good steel for the price.

Exactly like it is described. Excellent bargain at the price. Keep in mind that the oil is there to protect the metal from rusting.

Got for my son for christmas,he absolutely loves it. His came exactly as described,and that's what we wanted. A sword that looks like a common war weapon from the middle ages,love it!

Great looking rustic replica. It is a great wall hanger for my Celtic man cave. Definitely hand frodged.
