Excellent bicycle chain wax
This product works very well, is resistant to dirt, dust, water, doesn't leave any residue that cannot be easily wiped or brushed off, and is generally a clean lube. Saw a review that said it wasn't for cyclists - well, quite sure I qualify as a cyclist on the road, gravel, & mountain bikes in New England weather (mud, wet, dry, dust) and this works better than any "oil" lube I've ever used. I've maintained bikes since I was a kid, and used many products on the chain - this is by far the best given I don't want to dip wax my chain in a pot or melted solution. I'm sure that works, but is a pita in my opinion. Very happy with this product.

Best wax based lube I have used.
I got a new chain and cassette and cleaned the rest of the drivetrain, including the new chain with alcohol. Then I dripped the lube over the chain links and let them sit overnight. I then was able to ride this chain for weeks without any squeaks or apparent need to relube the chain and without any major buildup of dirt or wax. I have always preferred an oil based lube that protects the chain in wet conditions, but also leaves the drivetrain open to grit buildup. After several months of use, this ridiculously expensive lube has protected and lubed the chain without grit or much wax buildup, and without the ridiculous wax soaking procedures

This is the best wax based lube!
Comparison with traditional oil lube vs Silca Super Secret vs Smoove tested on 3 drums of traditional training roller.1st 🥇 Smoove 9 out of 102nd 🥈 Silca Super Secret 4 out of 103rd 🥉 Traditional oil lube 1 out of 10-SMOOVE has no chaining noise when start paddling and feel like tuned at low gear(cog) ratio, which is amazing and keep me concentrating to the front not back of my head!-SILCA SS is might be over rated for sure,,,,Ok, from oil lube that would be wonderful but used to from Smoove it would be worst eve.rIt’s not worth to buy that price slightly better than oil lube but NOT SO GOOD.-Traditional oil lube. Now go ahead, throw them away it’s disgrace to your bike.

It's a game changer
I've tried many different chain lubes over the years, and this is the best. Unlike White Lightning, it really does last for a long time, even on very dusty mountain bike trails. With White Lightning, in the same conditions I'd have to re-apply after about 20 or 25 miles, but Smoove lasts for 100+ miles. When it dries overnight, it becomes non-sticky and dust and sand don't stick to it. It's fairly easy to apply, unlike molten wax where you submerge the chain in a slow cooker. I tried the slow cooker method a few times and it doesn't last very long, and it's a total hassle to take the chain off and wait for wax to melt every 50 to 100 miles. So it's Smoove for all my bikes from this point on.Two hints for good results:1. When you get a new chain, clean it thoroughly before you apply Smoove. To remove the factory lube (super sticky grease), I first rinse in gasoline and then denatured alcohol2. Follow the instructions on the bottle. Apply somewhat generously and let it dry overnight. You can't apply it just before a ride and expect good results, because at first it's a thin liquid, then it gradually dries.

Amazing Chain Lube For Those Willing To Put In The Time
With 5,000 miles and little sign of wear on my current bike chain, this is the best chain lube I have found (working on bikes for 15 years.) While not quite as good as immersive hot waxxing, this is a superior alternative for riders living in drier climates. It does require application on a completely dry chain. I followed the application guidelines for this product on the Zero Friction Cycling website. While a bit of a fussy, time consuming process, the end result has been outstanding; better than anticipated. Highly recommended for riders willing to put in the effort and time to maintain a clean and efficient drive train.

Goes on foamy, no more wondering if you've already lubed that part of the chain
In performance reviews that analyze the ability of various lubes to prevent chain wear, Smoove came in 3rd place (almost a tie with second, and first place was a hot wax which is a royal PITA). I'll trust the science on this but I'd like to mention an unexpected benefit of this lube. I'm not sure if they specifically engineered it to do this, or if it's just how the chemical behaves BUT... it comes out as sort of a white foam, and it sticks to the chain quite well. One thing that annoys me about the Finish Line dry lube I've been using is that I can never tell if I've already lubed a section of the chain or not. With Smoove, there's no question about it. Once the part of the chain comes back around where you first applied the lube, you'll visually see it, no problem!

Does Not Work Like A True Chain "Wax"
I bought this under the assumption it was the equivalent to another brand I use that is slightly higher in price. I'm not sure where the positive reviews for this product come from, but as an experienced cyclist, and a mechanic, this is nothing more than an obsolete version of the Silca brand..... I applied this product per the recommended application. After 3 attempts I kept getting the same results. This stuff cakes up and turns your chain into a dirt magnet... And by dirt magnet, I've never seen a chain lube / wax that attracted this amount of dirt. It looks like my chain was dragged through an Oreo cream pie, then covered in maple syrup.. Not good.. Now comes the fun part.. Removing this ungodly wax.. Most chain waxes can be easily removed with some Simple Green and a cloth... Not this.. I suggest you get a grill brush and an angle grinder... Or just throw your chain in the trash and start over... Not trying to rain on anyones parade, but this stuff is definitely not designed for "cyclists".. Maybe for a beach cruiser or a kids bike, but I do not suggest using this if you're putting solid miles in...
