Desantis Mini Slide Holster For Glock 17 Right Hand Black

I purchased this holster as a replacement for a Vedder OWB Kydex holster. Fresh out of the package, it fit my Gen 3 Glock 26 perfectly. Other users have complained about the holster being overly tight prior to break-in, but I did not have this problem. The tension screw actually needed to be tightened during break-in.The holster is extremely comfortable and conceals fairly well. The G26 is held firmly to the body. I carry it using a VersaCarry double thick leather belt ( 1.5 inch width). Compared to the Vedder Kydex holster, it is more quiet and does not slide around as much on the belt.I would strongly recommend this holster for cold weather concealment! 100% satisfied.

I loved the workmanship, overall size, and comfort of this holster. Ultimately though, after almost 30 years of 'straight up' orientation of my holsters, the forward "FBI cant" made it unworkable for me. No reflection on the holster, just my muscle memory.

Like most everybody that conceal carries a handgun for any length of time, I think I'm on my fourth or fifth holster but I look at holsters like shoes - one pair of shoes don't work for all occasions nor do holsters. I have holsters for when I'm in dressier clothes (a Galco IWB or Kangaroo Carry - under the arm) and holsters for warmer weather or casual clothes like this DeSantis.Previously I've been using a Bianchi OWB but when I finally bought a real gun belt (1/4" thick) from Bullhide Belts I discovered the new belt wouldn't fit the Bianchi belt loop openings. So after a little Amazon shopping I decided to try this DeSantis holster due to the specifications (would accept a thick belt) and the good reputation of the company.When I examined the craftsmanship of this holster, I was very positively impressed - nicely finished with good materials. The holster fits my ambi thumb safety M&P9c like a glove - great retention of the gun and via the tension screw you can adjust the retention force. The belt loops will accommodate a belt wider than my 1.5" belt and while the holster will wiggle around a little bit, I really don't see this as a problem. I like the cant or angle of the holster - it is just right for my draw and helps conceal the gun against my body. Speaking of concealing, the general holster design lets it lay close the body.What I don't like - I wanted brown and it was only carried by Amazon in black :(. Aside from my nitpicking about the color, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

This is the most comfortable belt holster I've ever worn. Unlike some leather belt holsters where you can look like Barney Fife trying to tug his gun out of a super tight holster, this DeSantis has a firm grip yet releases the gun for a smooth draw. Great quality on the leather too.I have one question if someone has an answer. Would a Meprolight adjustable sight, where the front sight is taller than stock, make the gun not fit? I'd love to put them on my G19, but don't want to lose the ability to use this holster. I conceals the gun so well, I'd hate to render it unusable.

I purchased this holster for my Concealed Carry. This holster is considered a "High Rise" holster and is exactly that. It will ride with the weapons handle about 5 inches above the belt line. The leather fit was perfect. The one I purchased was black and the leather was a little stiff but not rigid. It will take just a little bit of use to soften up. It is also made for use inside of the belt or outside of the belt. If you position it inside of the belt it will sit a little "tighter" to the body than outside of the belt. The belt loops are positioned in the middle of the holster so this can be done.The tightening screw works as usual for tension adjustment. I did not have to adjust mine at all. DeSantis has a good record for quality construction. I recommend this to anyone that is in need of a holster for concealed carry. Delivery was quick and on schedule. Great job Amazon as usual.

Desantis holsters never let you down. This holster fits like the glove you would expect. It’s leather so it conforms well to your torso. It’s just secure and comfortable.

I purchased this holster hoping it would fit my CZ P07. There are very few holsters available for a P07 but it is almost identical in dimensions to the Glock G19 so I gave it a shot. It fits perfectly. My G19 and my P07 both fit in this holster like a glove. It holds both weapons well but not too tight. The holster looks great and fits well also. It has a higher than average ride, which is what I was looking for. Great for concealed carry for those of us who cannot wear an IWB holster very well. And the fact that it fits both of my carry weapons is a plus.

Initial quality seems good; double/triple stitching around belt loop holes. The grip on my G26 sits high and canted forward which helps with concealment, though it doesn't conceal as well as IWB. It is, however, 1 but more comfortable than IWB. Perfect for a light jacket. Only major concern right now is that the holster is tight. There is an adjustable piece for trigger guard retention but mine is all the way out, and it's tight around the slide side too. When on the waist, re-holstering results in slide coming back out of battery a bit. I think it just needs to be broken in, and this problem will go away. 4 stars assuming it breaks in a bit.
