A great product has kept the roof water proof

The bitumen felt pent roof on our outbuilding was starting to leak in various places. Using Cromopol is a bit tricky as it is loaded with glass fibre strands in a viscous solvent based acrylic sealant. I cleaned and pretreated the roof with algie/moss killer a week prior to coating. I used a thick pile roller and loaded it well and often. I used a 3" brush to apply to the facias. The coverage and seal was great after one coat but decided to apply another coat the next day, while it was warm and sunny.It has been a month now with horrendous rain pooring down and not a leak anywhere.Our roof is 12sq mtr and I used three 5kg tins with a quarter tin over. Have used this to trowel on to a couple of depressions where i could now see it was rain puddelingUsing the grey has a great advantage of being uv repellent and cooler inside now and would recommend this product.

Product was excellent , luckily eroofing had taped lids down and tried their best to protect the tins with packing and signage saying fragile ,but whoever delivered them managed to severely dent all 3 tins .

I bought 3 tins, & just ordered another 3. I’ve read a fair few reviews and must agree with other purchasers.I found even after regular stirring, I still had hard lumps that wouldn’t spread. No real instructions on what to use to apply product. I did ring suppliers to ask. So I’m using a 4” fence treatment brush. I was hoping to roll this on, but that’s not an option.You can’t clean brushes afterwardsIf you over brush the sealant, you end up with tufts of hair on the surface.One thing that’s not great, is the bleed through of the bitumen felt, even though I sealed this last year with a heat reflector silver paint.I was hoping for a smooth finish, and now wish I’d opted for the EPDM Rubber Treatment.

I ordered three tins to give my flat roof a few coats. All arrived on time but I noticed a colour difference when I opened the second tin. On checking the batch numbers, two were the same and the third had the batch number erased.Didn't really matter as no one can see the roof.

I used this product to put over my fibre glass garage and exstention.

Great products . Works brilliantly. As most other reviews have said this is a great item . My only complaint was awful condition the tins arrived in from seller . They are not boxed or protected in any way . Just your address label printed on lid. All 6 cans I bought were really badly bashed / dented and it’s so lucky that the product hadn’t spilled from the can

There is really nothing anything to dislike about this product used this time on a corrugated abestos garage roof at home.rather paint than paying to have the asbestos removed.it sticks like s.it and can by hard to apply when there is sunny weather. Fantastic product.
