Baja North: Baja California Map [Mexico] (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3103)

Mexico Highway 5 is not up to date. I drove highway 5 almost three Years ago. No problems.

I just received the maps and even though I have not used them in Baja yet, I felt it was important to let others know that this has a copyright date of 2019. There are a lot of reviews on here for the old version. I was a little skeptical about purchasing because of that. I haven't seen any other large size maps for Baja Mexico as current as these available on Amazon. It is currently 2021 and we are planning on going in 2022... fingers crossed! I have realistic expectations regarding accuracy.The printing of these maps is high quality and uses high quality paper. It is perfect for our needs.

If you are going to Baja, get these. At the very least, put them in your glove box and some insurance if your gps goes out.

This is a ok map printed on nice waterproof, roof tear resistant paper. It show most major roads but is lacking detail for secondary routes and many missing smallvillages and dirt routes. Something I do really like about this map is it shows numerous traveler interest icons including gas/diesel stations. I purchased this map hoping to use it for backcountry travel. My 15yr old Baja California Peninsula map shows more details.

Mexico Highway 5, the major highway and HUGE construction project south of San Felipe down to Mexico Highway 1, isn’t on this map. Although the road opened in early 2020 and the map is dated 2019, there’s not even a dotted line labeled “future highway 5” where the construction was nearly completed at the time of publication.This, plus the comments by others who have found other outdated information, have left me with no confidence in this map.Which is a shame because it’s very clear and printed on great waterproof paper. It would have been the perfect map to have back in 2010 or whenever it was accurate.I am returning it and the map of the other half of Baja.

I've travelled to Baja a lot and these are some of the best maps available. Plenty of secondary roads covered. Great add to the collection!

This was the only topo map of northern Baja will sufficient level of detail for our use in doing research. The map has village locations but also identified features such as canyons, hills, peaks, and valleys.

Maps are good boy should not have the Name stamp over Algodones and area blocking out the roads to connect to the Baja

This map is exactly as expected. It’s great for my adventure trip even if it’s a bit outdated relative to today.

Great "dated" map. Hard to believe there's no newer version. Should do the trick though.
