We used Feliway optimum to try and chill out our two cats whilst we introduced our dog to the household. Cats did ok and Feliway optimum helped the cats be less anxious. The most progress we made with Feliway optimum was the cats stopped darting out the back door when the dog came downstairs. BUT, With Bephar Cat comfort, the cats snooze on the sofa next to the dog, they are so relaxed. I would say the cats are actually as comfortable as they were before we introduced our dog. If you're introducing a new cat or dog to your household, don't waste your money with Feliway optimum, go straight to Beaphar Cat Comfort, its great. You can't smell it or notice it, but your cats will! Honestly twice as effective as feliway optimum but much cheaper.

It's cheaper than the other ones and works very well on our cat. She had a habit of peeing on the carpet but since we got her this, she's stopped completely! We've been using this for 3 months and I can't recommend it enough. She seems a lot less stressed so we're happy. Doesn't smell to us and it does last a month. We live in a three storey house and we've plugged it in our middle floor bedroom (her trouble area) but it seems to be effective around the house.

I have two cats - one elderly and in poor health, the other young and lively. I wasn't planning to take on another cat while I still had my old lady, Abigail, but the woman next door didn't have her cat spayed and was left looking for homes for three kittens. I took on one of them, a lively, mischievous tortoiseshell and white I named Karina. Abigail has arthritis, kidney disease, idiopathic cystitis and is an old lady of somewhere around 20. She just wants to sleep and have a quiet life. Karina wants to play, and winds up Abigail something rotten. Karina runs around aimlessly, whirring, practices parkour off the back of the sofa and ambushes and pounces on poor old Abigail. Result - Abigail's cystitis flared up again, and she has had to take extra painkillers. Thankfully, the situation has calmed down a bit. Karina is still lively but less so. With extra painkillers and medication, Abigail's pain and cystitis have calmed down too. Karina is still lively and still winding up Abigail, but I doubt that anything can stop that. Abigail and I will take a reduction in her mania as a win :)

Works as well as the more expensive brand. Much better value though. Some people have trouble getting the lid off. It does have markings but they are hard to see. It's like a medicine bottle - push down and unscrew. Would recommend

This item is great. So why the three-star rating? You ask? Why simply because it does not last 30 days. I was a bit like this thing hasn't been plugged in for 30 days so when I changed it I marked the bottom of the bottle with that day's date. 3 weeks later the bottle was empty and old Jimmii was not happy and pee'd all over my bookcase. I checked the bottle and the date on the bottom and yup it had only lasted 23 days. Even so, 23 days of my cat not peeing all over is worth the cost of it. just looks like I have to stock up a little more. Under this it says rate features. i.e. value for money = 4*, Scent? = I'm not smelling this... it doesn't stink the place out but you wouldn't notice it and of course Flavour?????? You ain't supposed to drink this... what are, why would you need to know what it tastes like? Behave!!

We got one of these for a very nervous rescue cat after some weeks of him being with us. Definitely made a difference. The plug in ran out and the cat then started hiding behind the sofa again and being generally very nervous. Bought a refill and within a couple of hours of pluging it in, the cat once again became very relaxed and content.

My cats been horribly bullied by another outdoor cat and was injured in a cat fight... after this and a fortune in vet bills he became so unsettled at home.. withdrawn and aggressive... tried these... and after a day or so he started to chill and the aggression stopped...I’m now on the second month 2 plugged in so the flat is covered, I noticed a bit of regression when one ran out so will keep them going for a few more months and see...the cats still about so I know it will take more time for him to go back to his usual chilled self but there’s been a massive difference and he’s much more happier

This has calmed my cats right down from being panicky from being in a new space with other animals to lazing around all day and being totally calm definitely pick this up if your having issues with scratching furniture, tiffs between cats or even cats and dogs because it will calm your cat down completely.
