Simple to use - not fancy, but gets the job done, for cheap
This is basically a thermostat, intended for mounting in a panel or machine, setting, and forgetting. Once you know the wiring (which is really pretty intuitive: Rd/Bk to power, Yw/Bk to load), it's super-simple to hook up. Note the the output is actually powered - it's not like some similar units that bring out a normally-open relay contact. This means that the load must require the same voltage as the controller (12 volts, in this case).I like that it comes in a case with mounting ears. Again, it's not intended as a front panel instrument, but it's much less hassle to mount this than one of the similarly-priced board-level thermostats, and it looks a lot more professional too.It didn't come with instructions, but the four-line operating instructions on this product listing are enough, or with a bit of rummaging I was able to locate them on the (Turkish!) web site. Basically, you set an "on" setpoint and an "off" setpoint; if the "on" is higher than the "off" then it's an air conditioner thermostat, and if the "off" is higher than the "on, then it's a heater thermostat. Simple. The two setpoints must be at least 2 degrees C apart. (There's no way to set it read F.)I've had no reliability issues with this at all. Once it was set up, it just works. I noted that one of the question answers mentioned a small battery to maintain the setpoints during power outage. This seemed unlikely to me at this price point (I've done electronic product design for a living), so I opened it up, and it appears that the (unlabeled) processor must have some on-board flash or EEPROM, which would make the setpoints completely non-volatile. Certainly I had no problem during my short-duration tests with setpoints being lost when the power was interrupted. All in all, I find this to be a simplistic, but solid and practical, temperature controller at an extremely reasonable price.

Faulty out of the package.
Powered up just fine, then immediately showed a fault with the temperature sensor. I was only able to determine this because another reviewer scoured the internet for the instructions since this thing didn't come with any.

A little cooling project for home equipment
I am using this equipment two weeks now is working well. It was easy to set up excepting that the instructions are not in English but i used youtube to do the adjustment.I am using it on a Iptv Box which in my optinion heat up too much that could be a little cooler in its processing which sometimes buffering too much at times. The short fall of this product i beleive the could have added a power switch on it and up grade and switching on the ouput to reducing the speed when using a fan or even dimming light depending the user choice. I added a power switch for when i am not using the equipmentThe 12volts output is very strong i will have to buy a Voltage Motor Speed Controller DC 1.8V 3V 5V 6V 12V 2A Adjustable Driver Switch with Speed Control Knob to help with fan speed. Integrating these idea into the equipment could help a all in one control. Over all i am saticfied and would recommend it for projects. So it set at 42.5 degree start and 35degree end. it takes roughly 5 minutes from start to end to cool and cycle starts at 15minutes intervals. i just a tape to hold down the guage for now. I going to put the switch and speed control on the equipment built in as soon as i recieve them. I will update that project when i am done.

Inexpensive, works, limited documentation
Its bare bones, but it works. I'm using it to control two 7 watt 12 volt stick on pipe elbow heaters on a trailer battery setup. Draws about .1 amps of parasite load when not powering the heaters. No documentation at all, writing on the back is all in Chinese. Had to look on youtube to find a similar controller to see how to set it up. Seems to only read out in Celsius

Perfect for the task
This arrived with no issues. There were no markings on what wires (or colors) were for what....It came with no details, just the thermostat switch.I had to use a Chinese language translator to help identify which set of wires was for which part. Other than that, there were no unexpected surprises. The device ONLY uses CELSIUS numbers for the temps, but it's pretty simple to do a conversion. Although it would be much handier if there was a means to select one or the other to remove some of the guess work out of it. (Perhaps there is something if you operate on it - but that would void any warranty for sure)It's been in service for a few months now --- It's connected to a exhaust fan in a large shed which is powered by solar setup. It starts and stops on its own as expected based on the settings I inserted.Note that there IS a draw on the power source....I register about .2amp when it's sitting idle. Although this is a vampire draw, it shouldn't impact a properly setup solar system.I have it coming on when it senses about 80 deg F, and then it will shut off when it drops below 75 deg F.The Thermostat has a TRIGGER (turn on) setting, and a OFF setting. Make sure your OFF setting is low enough not to make it cycle too soon, or it will act like it's never shutting off, and will likely place a strain on not only the electronics, but also what is connected to it.In my case, the cut-off is more for times when the temp in question is fluctuating because it's not getting hot and staying there, rather than once the sun is out full time like past spring when the sun is there all day. At that point, if the temp drops low enough (night time) the exhaust won't run since it won't be needed.

Good when they work
I have used these many times in the past as a custom RV builder and when they work they are perfect. However, the last four I have received do not work. I’ve tested them in multiple ways using a bench charger and a multimeter, and have even swapped it out with a working unit that is hooked up to some 2” cooling fans. With all settings set identical to the functioning unit, these four I have received are all defective right from the packaging. The ‘out’ light turns on but the relay makes no click and no power is sent out of the unit.

Great little device ! Works like a charm !
while researching how to build a fan/temperature sensor I found this unit from Amazon! Discovered it was less expensive than buying the parts to build one , plus it came in a mountable enclosure , with the temperature sensor. All I had to do was connect a 12 volt source, and the fan I wanted to use and placed the temperature sensor on the heat sink of my ham radio and it was ready to keep the radio cool ! Only one draw back and it is not a major one, the readout is in Celsius with no way to change it to Farenheit, not a big deal once you understand the temp range you want to set it for......in Centigrade......and when you get it for the price offered , a complete ready to go unit, this became, for me, a minor detail. unit is in use and working exactly like I wanted! Great buy!

Definitely works, setup might be finicky if you’re not accustomed to electronics
It works , but it’s very hard to understand how to operate it and it seems like you “chase” it around a lot. It’s probably me, but I managed to get it set how I want it , by chance. Price is great so I’m not too upset about it.

Very accurate and temp refreshes quickly.
Very happy with this. Used this for an enclosure for my 3D printer and regulates the temperature perfectly. The temperature registers quickly and can change the max and min values within 0.1°C. Also to keep in mind, the output actually puts out the input voltage (doesn’t just function as a relay).

Works as described
We are using it to start a ventilation system built from computer fan in an electrical box. We installed it more than 3 months ago and so far so good. I will even order a different one to ventilate another part of the system soon. Must be used with a low power draw equipment due to the size of the cables.

Works great
I have used these a few times in outdoor weatherproof enclosures to control a 12 volt cooling fan. I haven't had one fail yet. Simple to set up. (Can be used for heating instead of cooling by simply setting the start and stop temperatures appropriately.) My load is only 150 mA or so, so I can't comment how well these would work controlling the full claimed 10 Amps. (The wires seem just a bit thin for this.)It would be nice if the power and load wires were a bit longer, but no big deal. One goofy thing ... I've ordered the 12 volt version a few times. Sometimes I get the TWO button version, and sometimes the THREE button version. The two button version is a bit easier to set up. The three button version can change P0, P1, P2 and P3. (P0 is start temp, P1 is stop temp. The others can set temp offset and minimum cycle time.) Once again. no biggie since Youtube will show you how to set either type up.

Chinese junk, don’t work
Could not get to work. Way too large late to return. Learn from my mistakes, buy something better, you’ll thank me.
