It is really too early for me to rate this product. I have to use it for a while to find out how the battery holds it's charges, and the battery life. One thing I noticed, after the first charge, it did not take long at all to drop to 3/4 charge. That does concern me a bit, but I will have to charge it several times to see if this is just an inaccuracy on the indicator, or if the battery just drains rather fast. I think it should last longer than the charge indicator says, since it is a 5 AH .

Mucho mejor que la original, despues de que dejaran de funcionar las dos baterias originales que venian con el aparato decidi probar con esta bateria y me sorprende que trabaje mucho mejor que las otras dos baterias, supera el trabajo que podia hacer con las dos baterias originales. Ojo tuve que comprar el cargador que recomiendan para esta bateria.

Drop in replacement for DeWalt 18v tools originally built for the NiCd packs. This one is lighter and has the capacity of two Ni-Cd packs. A very economical choice to get another couple of years of life from the tool. Fits drill perfectly. As others have noted, slight resistance going into charger, but not a big deal.If you've got one or more of the older 18v DeWalt tools, give this a try. It worked very well for me.

This item works great,and check that price you can't beat it it does the same thing that expensive one does and even better I think and by expensive I mean the name brand that I bought and paid $200 for two batteries how crazy is that why in the world would anyone after crying this item and believe me I was skeptical at first but I tried it it works and I love it don't pass this one up you won't be sorry

Note the OEM (left) battery and the aftermarket picture, side by side, you can see the insert part of the aftermarket is slightly larger, this poses the problem for the gun's receptacle. You have to really shove it and risk damaging the tool to make it fit and operable. The OEM fits perfectly, too bad it's NiCad and not lithium. I am using it but cautiously since the non OEM battery can ruin a very expensive tool. Buyer beware

great power and longevity. the indicator for the power left in the battery is very helpful. so far I am very happy with this buy.

I purchased this battery and put it on the charger. I finally went to use it and it wasn’t charged after being on the charger for a month. If coarse it’s too late to send it back. Very disappointed in this product.

Came charged. Charged it anyway overnight just to make sure. The charge meter helped determine its full power. Even after a long use, it kept up a good power to complete my project
