Very small book and less pictures
For those do want to buy it:It is very basic stuff but deal with Buddhism and yoga. For Buddhism followers, you should buy it if you like yoga and Buddhism.I think the writer took time writing about 114 pages.A small book and simple to understand. For those don't want to buy it:Small, less information.Religious and yoga, hard to learn, go and take a class on yoga, if you want to learn yoga. Not worth your money!!!Don't buy it instead!!!Unless you want to buy it and practice basic yoga and Buddhism!!!

heart opening
i heard about this small but powerful book when i took tibetan heart yoga classes at my gym, and then followed the teacher to a center in los angeles where the philosophy could be taught as well as the asanas. i've never wanted to teach yoga before, but this type of yoga combines the meditative giving of the six perfections while you are doing your asanas. the effect of this works on the outter body as well as the inner thoughts during your yoga practice! it's very powerful and effective in changing your life in all wonderful ways. this book gently and very specifically explains how it all works. i love it and keep it near me for reference. thank you.

short and efficient yoga program, for busy people!
Appreciating the importance of Yoga long ago and being very busy..., I was looking for a quick practice. I came upon the "Five Tibetans", It helped me for 10 years to easily do 'something", than nothing!... Now I am so happy to come upon this one, together with the book "How Yoga Works" from the same author, which is the deep Philosofy of Yoga, because it is also short program - 30 minutes only, but the thing is that, both "The Five Tibetans" and this one give you a well balanced and quick system!I guess, for many people the lack of time in the morning before going to work is the stopper for exercising...

A rare Buddhist approach to Yoga
One of very few books with a Buddhist approach to yoga. It’s very short and doesn’t go into a lot of depth, but the heart yoga approach is interesting.

Best book ever - will change your life
I bought this book as a gift for my mom as I already had one. I have taken this book with me on many trips and look forward to spending many more years with it. Why is it such a great practice? In one small book is a 30-60 minute yoga practice with a powerful meditation, prana-yama, and asana practice all in one. Try it, what have you got to lose?

A Classic Update of an essential Yoga sutra
this is a contemporary update of Patanjali's famous, and essential, treatise on Yoga. At the same time, it is accessible and leads the reader through the various intricacies of the Yoga Sutra.

Great book on Yoga!!!
This book is wonderful book about the deeper meaning of yoga. It is a must read for anyone wishing to go beyond the dumbed down version of yoga as merely a set of exercises for a "hot" yoga body. Go to the roots and see how marvelous life can be!

Finally the truth is being told!
For about 45 yrs I have done so-called inner energy training of the Chinese, Japanese and of India. This book tells the story in a concise manner, of what has been mostly lost from Yoga Hatha and other arts. I also read "How Yoga Works" by Geshe Michael and am now looking for a workshop to attend. This is strong meat for men and women...not milk for babes.

Real Yoga made easier
This is a fantastic book by two fantastic teachers. To get this kind of teaching from the direct lineage of the Dalai Lamas of Tibet is truly rare. This book explains not only how yoga works but why. It has a full yoga workout that you can use to build up a daily practice and is explained step by step with good quality photos.Geshe Michael Roach and Christie MacNally have both completed a 3 year silent meditation and yoga retreat (very rare in this modern world), have studied with both Buddhism and Yoga's most respected teachers, and are renowned teachers themselves. I can't say enough about how highly qualified these teachers are, they have translated dozens of ancient Tibetan and Sanskrit texts, and developed dozens of authentic courses based upon these texts to make an authentic study of these ancient teachings possible for English speaking students here in the west.If you want authentic teachings that are easy to understand and follow then buy this book now and get started.

My favorite book ever
This is probably my most favorite book ever! This simple and profound yoga program in the tradition of the Dalai Lama can change your life. It works on many levels at the same time. It can give you back your waist - and help you open your heart and change your perspective at the same time. It has a beautiful, simple description of the way karma works. I highly, highly recommend this book - and doing the yoga!

Don't trust this
Don't waste you money. Controversial writer that lacks proper lineage and credibility. I wish I had known this before I bought it.
