Madden NFL 25 - Xbox One

Madden Fan but lost interest a couple of version back. But after getting a new xbox one, i give madden a chance again. This version so far is not bad. Graphic still not as good as it can be for next gen, i played Ryse and i do wish the model can look that good on the next one. Back to football, all the mode i like is back, Franchise is nice and now with multiple option to do Player, Coach, or General manager. Pretty interesting and a lot of depth from what i see so far. game play is good. Running is more about following the blocker and timing. I love watching pulling guard and FB mowing LB to the ground while you follow them. Throwing the ball seem to be the same as previous one and CB seem to be pretty decent. Again, it's all about recognizing the coverage which i'm happy that you can't just chucks all the time and not get pick off. I give it 5 stars cause i'm happy with the product and definitely have great replay value with the legendary player in ultimate team.

Cool game for the Xbox one. Bought it used and saved a bunch of money.... I've been playing Madden since its inception, and this game has great visual graphics, the only thing i may say that is mmm is the kick returns, if you go one way the tacklers will follow you and if you cut the other way you can return it for a quick six, i had it happen to me numerous times and did it as well myself a few times. I say it is comparable to the madden 13 with a few tweaks,The online community is good, you will join a game very quicky,The uniforms are cool, Lots of Madden heads want to play with the Seahawks for some reason albeit because of the uniforms or because they want to see how good ol' Russ can scamper around the field also RG3 is as good as advertised, if your an option guy then your gonna have a field day, well this is my first official review ever and hope you enjoyed the brief read.

I have seen alot of reviews about freezing, the game has froze on me twice, in about 50 hours of gameplay, so it's not THAT bad, but the problem does exist. Also, it loses some points for not being as graphically impressive as you'd expect on these next gen systems. Beyond that, this is I think my favorite madden ever. What it lacks in graphics, it makes up for in details. No two tackles really look the same, the motion of the players themselves is very true and realistic. You'll cringe at some of the hits this game delivers, and then laugh at others that get shrugged harmlessly to the side. A higher tier player (not me) can take advantage of the new control features, there are combo moves now that enhance the original motion, for example, hold down left trigger and press b, and you will do a more powerful spin move that jukes your opponent out. Hold LT and press a for a stronger stiff arm etc. Players are more intelligent than in previous maddens, which is great, until you throw that interception to the guy you did not see jumping your receivers route, or until that linebacker breaks out of his zone coverage to tackle your guy for a loss. They play smarter, and better, it makes it so when you call zone defense, your people will actually be in their zones, even on lower difficulty settings, the players will still act in accordance with the defensive plays you call, in previous maddens, setting the game to pro instead of all madden meant your players haphazardly blew coverage on every down letting the opponent throw that long bomb every down, not in this one, they do as commanded, but play with more ferocity on higher difficulty. This is a great madden, it's got it's issues, but you should still give it a go if you have not.

EA sports has been aware of the problem since August and have done nothing to correct it. The game freezes up in Ultimate team mode, Online play , pretty much anything that has to do with connecting to EA server making it completely worthless. The worst part is When building Ultimate team i spent real money buying players cards, really stinks that i cant even get to them let alone use them. This is plastered all over Xbox one forum PS4 forum Microsoft Etc.. Dont buy until they fix or release new game, this game is worthless if you plan on using any features and im sure that you are

I have almost all of the current Xbox One games but this one, until now. I am not sure why I waited so long, this game is great. The announcing, graphics and controls are fantastic. I find myself often using the Kinect to hike the ball or call and audible. If you like Football and have an Xbox One, Go ahead make your day pick this game up.

Let me start by saying that this review comes after having owned the Xbox 360 version and investing countless hours in Ultimate Team since it's release. Overall, the 360 version of madden 25 had poor, blurry graphics but the controls and overall gameplay was excellent in my opinion. I was excited to be able to get madden on 360 with the option to upgrade to the xbox one version for only $15 upon its release. Unfortunately, I ended up having to sell my xbox 360 copy on eBay due to Best Buy only running the promotion until October (before xbox one release). I felt jipped, but I went ahead and bought the xbox one version from Amazon (it was $10 cheaper here). Madden 25 on Xbox One - After reading many of the positive reviews on Amazon, I was very excited to get the game on the One; however, shortly after popping it in, I couldn't help to notice how glaringly bad the graphics were. As mentioned above, the 360 version exhibited poor and often blurry player and stadium models. In the Xbox One version, everything is much sharper; however, character models look like LEGOS. I also immediately noticed that the gameplay was sped up ridiculously fast (even changing it to slow did not feel natural compared to the 360 version). Also, the controls are horrible in comparision to the 360 version. You can no longer make sharp cuts and there seems to be a delay from the time you move the control stick to the time you actually begin to move in the other direction. It just doesn't feel right. I was unable to get my ultimate team to transfer to the xbox one version; however, I may have been doing something wrong. I do not intend to repurchase the 360 version and I have already returned my copy of the xbox one version. Also, I experienced a few instances where Madden 25 would cause a black screen on my Xbox One and effectively locked it up (this doesn't occur on any of my other XB1 games.) Also, there was a few times when the disk was not recognized (again, this doesn't occur on nba 2k14, forza or BF4). Overall, if you want an excellent football game with excellent controls, gameplay features and graphics, you won't find one due to the exclusivity of EA; however, if you want the best available, I would reccomend Madden 25 on 360 or maybe even wait until next years version of Madden on Xbox One. Hopefully they will get it right next year.

This has been a great addition for our son's games. He first learned of it and how to play during Wed Night Youth - and had to have it at home. W/ASD/TS/ADHD, this has been a wonderful "tool" for him to interact Socially, even if he plays alone, he still uses it as a way to connect with others when he sees someone while out - it's a Conversation Starter :)

This product was given to my grandson, I hear he plays it most everyday. That is when he's on the system which is quite often. (Every day) Course his parents don't let the game or games interfere with his studies, but I know he loves this game, and NBA 2K14 which I also gave him. He loves sports and the XBox. Service was even better then expected when we ordered thru Amazon. I believe they the postal service delivered it on a Sunday. We were expecting a Monday or Tuesday delivery. We also ordered the NBA 2K14 and the XBox, along with the control charger all in the same bundle.
