Lavilin Roll On Deodorant 2.1 OZ (2pack)

I found this product after reading a review in the New York Times that raved about it, and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad that I did. The product goes on in a very light film and dries quickly. It has a very pleasant scent to it. It does keep me dry, and believe me I work hard and perspire, so I can tell the difference. I never thought much about deodorant - I always used it, but I never thought that there could be something out there so much better, but this definitely is. After using another product for so many years, I will never go back.

There is virtually no smell to this product. I followed the directions and was amazed by its effectiveness in controlling odor. It's gone! No pit odor at all. It is worth every penny! There is no irritation, no staining on my clothes, and because it doesn't have a strong smell, there is no scent left in my T-shirts or blouses.

Agree with Wirecutter on this one. Hard to beat for gentle smell, pleasant feel and long lasting strength.

Do not buy this product if you are sensitive to scents. Despite the product write up, it has a very strong and unpleasant scent, which does not dissipate. I even bathed and used rubbing alcohol to get rid of the scent and it persisted. That’s why the product works: you can’t get rid of the scent that is masking your body odor. Also, it did leave white residue on my shirt.

I’ve been using this product for over 20 yrs. I love it BUT I have noticed it’s not as strong as it used to be. Not as strong and long lasting as it used to be. I’m still gonna buy it because I haven’t found anything better. But for the ccprice it needs to be a better quality. Like it used to be years ago. Yes ppl did notice .

I still use the regular unscented Almay but miss the powder fragrance. I am CRAZY allergic to most deodorants/anti-perspirants so I began very tentatively, small patch at a time. Quite expensive unfortunately, but beggars can’t be choosers. Nice, clean scent and zero skin reaction. If I expect to also be sweating a lot I add the unscented Almay to it since this is only a deodorant.

This stuff was just ok for me. It smells nice and I put it on per the instructions. If you don't let it dry completely it will leave marks all over your clothes. But other (less expensive) natural deodorants worked better for me. I wouldn't try it for the price.

LOVE this deoderant. It truly does eliminate underarm odor. Directions say to apply at night, however I have never done this - not sure why they say to apply at night. Maybe it works better as you sleep? I apply as usual after a shower in the morning. After a few applications, I alternate with my usual deoderant. It works as advertised.
