Fantech VHR 150 Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) Supply Fan Shutdown Defrost 3 Speed Unit

I purchased this for my home in 2021, I have this in my basement to exchange air. For this price point the efficiency seem really good. I used Fan Tech Filter boxes FB6 before each air intake. I usually have it running at lowest speed which puts it at 50cfm. I've had 20 deg F days and the discharge air was 67 def F. Of course there are a lot of other variables going on, but the enthalpy core seems really efficient. This unit has a 24v ps and a terminal strip for interfacing other controls. It has a manual switch for "Low OFF and High" I run mine with an external 120 volt timer, to turn unit on/off. Still going fine, no issues.

Arrived ahead of schedule, which is good, this allows me time to fix it. The access cover latches are broken and the housing is racked. I don’t have time to return it and wait for a replacement. I hope it works. Ill be calling tomorrow for compensation.

I ordered 3 of these. 1 didn't function and will need to be returned because the fans don't turn on. Waiting to see how their return process is for the defective one.
