Easy to setup
This is a great beginners telescope, super easy to put together and the adapters that are included, are easy to attach and use.I wouldn't use this to find far away galaxies or star clusters, or try to find a binary start (or two) but I would use this to look at the moon and get some great shots with your phone. I also wouldn't try to find the flag on the boon but you can definitely see the craters and details on the moon better than you could with binoculars (see my photos). It comes with a backpack storage where the stand and the scope are kept separately and protected with a foam layer. The height is perfect for kids and there is a good adjustment for height using a pretty steady leaver. I used this with my nieces and nephews and they loved looking at the moon.To get this up and going, it should only take a few minutes since there are only a few joins and it's ready to go. As expected, the entire setup is a little shaky, so you have to be careful to not move the telescope too much, especially when trying to capture what you're seeing with your phone camera.

Great for a beginner
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So just to temper your expectations right away. This thing isn't going to be capable of counting the rings of Saturn or anything. This is more meant as a beginner telescope for kids who have an interest in the moon and maybe bird watching. It has two eye pieces that come with it, a backpack, and a tripod that all are of decent quality. The telescope itself is of a decent quality also. Overall its a great gift for kids, but if you are buying it for an adult, then you will probably be disappointed.

It’s a awesome product I have to wish for
It’s a awesome product I have to wish for. I always want a telescope when I was a child. This product is awesome because it has the holder for the cellphone as we can take picture or see the things such as the moon, the starts and the bird or sneaky the neighbors lol. It’s not tough to setup the telescope. It have 2 more lens come with the product. If you like to see the milky ways or full moon. I recommend to buy this telescope.

Good view
At first I bought it just because, we have a new porch and we considered that it would be great to have a sky view in summer. And kids will love it. And they do! This telescope has good look and has a clear view of the sky. And it's just worth the price. This is good for every healthy & educational party.

Smaller then expected & poorly made
I wasn't expecting high end quality for this price TBH, just better made then it actually is. The tripod is NOT worth using. Thankfully as a freelance photography I have PLENTY of extra GOOD quality tripods that are sitting in storage to choose from. The one that comes with the telescope is too flimsy & will fall over.Next issue (which is the one reason I bought it): The phone adapter so you can take pictures with your phone is NOT secure AT ALL! MOST people these days who buy camera phones spend well over $150 for their phones & the suction cups on the holder do NOT hold your phone for more then a couple of minutes! Having my phone drop on the ground & breaking is NOT something I'm keen to have happen! I tried it out INSIDE & thankfully I had pillows under it to catch it should it fall (and it did!). DO NOT USE THE PHONE adapter unless you want your phone to break when it falls! The positives: The backpack is nice & well padded & the entire kit went together fast & easy with out any issues. There are no REAL directions for putting it together (the handbook that they provide is NO help) and not everyone has internet so "watching the video" here on their selling page is not practical at all! I will be taking it outside for a test run in the next couple of days & will up date on clarity of the lens. I just have to wait for the rain to clear up.

I cannot stress enough, do NOT buy this!!
This product is complete trash. There is no way to secure the lens. After a month of attempting to see anything through it, it has been put at the back of the closet. It would have been returned but it was given as a Christmas gift to my son for when we moved out of the city. We did not attempt to use it for a few months, so missed the return window.

Telescope is CRAP!
One of the lens were put together upside down and then when I went to return the item was never picked up. Seller tried to pull a fast one and when I submitted request for a new pick up I was outside of the "return window"

Very poor quality - fell apart in three uses
Handle on tripod broke after three uses. The other reviews also spoke of how crummy this Tripp’s is and it truly is. I will have to buy another. All the bolts, rings, etc. that fasten and stabilize this telescope are awful. We have to hold on to it constantly which negates using it as a telescope. This would be so frustrating for a beginner as they would think they had were just unfamiliar. I wish now that we had just bought a better pair of binoculars or had gone to a different brand. I gave it a three only because if you can hold it all together you can see stars as clear dots (all you could expect from this type telescope). We could vaguely see the Neowsy comet as a “smudge” in the sky. If you are wanting to actually have a telescope that you can easily set up and use for novice astronomy then this would be ok.
