Tent Mega for 4 Family Members (Instant Pop up Tent)

This is the perfect tent to store in your trunk for those spontaneous moments you need some outdoor protection at the kids' baseball game or a picnic with no shade, or when you decide to do some light camping. I love mine and leave it in my van at all times. It's a little bigger than a bicycle tire when it's in its case, very lightweight, and can be carried like a shoulder bag with one hand. As for setting up, it really does burst out of the case, unravel itself in the air, and land fully set up in 2 seconds. A couple of tent stakes if you feel like it will anchor it well. And once I figured out how to fold it (from a video online, not the confusing directions) it takes me 18 seconds to fold it and another 20 seconds to get it back in the case! I've owned mine for almost 3 years and have camped in mild wind and light rain comfortably. It would not withstand real harsh conditions, and it definitely needs a tarp under it--the flooring material is not much heavier than the sides. I've also had to sew a couple of tent stake loops back on and patch the thin fabric of the case. A queen size mattress fits snugly inside with just enough room for two adults and a sprawling German Shepherd, or two adults and two toddlers. I did manage to get five people lying down in it, but they were all children under ten sleeping crosswise!

Great tent, but NOT FOR 4 to 5 PEOPLE! I got this for my brother and I to go camping: we are both 6'1 and slim builds. The two of us JUST fit inside of this tent, length is fine, but width is only two sleeping bags wide. This is A TWO PERSON TENT, or four to five toddlers. The tent itself is great, easy to set up. Had to find a very chinese video on how to fold it up properly, but it's very simple, and practice makes perfect. I would definitely buy another one, should I ever need.

Nice, but its kinda hard to imagine 4 persons sleeping in it. There were only two of us and without our bacpacks there was enough place for maybe one more. There was also problem with carrying it - not the size but the handles. Theyre not so well-tied - we had needles pointing out after we carried it for like 2-3 hours. And finally - the pegs. They're horrible, all bent at once and there is no instruction about installing them with the tent, no hammer included.Nevertheless its a perfect tent for camping. Only 2 seconds to pop-up, 10-15 seconds to pack it up. Made from good materials we camped for two weeks and nothing inside our outside the tent was torn, scratched or broken.

Love the easy set up. Took a few tries to put away, but worth the effort.

NOT 5 PERSON TENT, BS!!! I', 5'7 and wife is 5 foot. My two kids 10 & 8. So I thought a five person tent would suffice. Got it last moment... opened first time during camping. Horrible night. Tent fits 2 of us comfortably... if we threw the kids out.2nd. After using an air mattress, we were up higher. That between the four of us... there was condensation build up and droplets. The night was too cold to open up vents.3rd. Ask to return but the company thinks misleading consumers to sucker them into buying the tent is not sufficient reason not to,because other didn't not return it due to the same reason.Putting back into its original form not so easy as well. Photo directions on tag still useless... it's drawn with writing in Chinese... Maybe the tent fits 5 kids young and small kids at best.

Having trouble folding back up to put back in bag. It's was tried five times and still can't properly fold it. Don't want to bend it wrong way. I look up a video and still can't do it.. Stressed out now. I looked at many videos and still not successful. I will be running across town to hopefully find these tents and have salesman fold theirs up than I will try. Other than that we haven't gone anywhere to try and use it yet. Very Disappointed

Well, it works as advertised. Throw it down and poof! a tent! the instructions to folding it up are a bit vague, but once you figure it out, its easy. Now, I can't review durability as of yet, but so far I am happy with the purchase. This tent is not a big, rugged tent, but it seems to be decent construction. You can fit two parents and two kids sleeping close. so its not massive, but for the price, not bad.
