The Secret Dakini Oracle Paperback – January 1, 1979

This is the third deck of the Dakini cards I've ordered in the past 20 years. I keep coming back to the insights and perceptions it is able to generate. The Dakinis give a good picture of the currents at play in a person at the moment. They are not always easy, but the pictures and explanations of the pictures help put a deeper awareness to the message. If you are looking for a great tool to help you become aware of your inner life, the Dakini's can be a great aid.

I love this book. I keep it with me always. This book is for those who had achieved a certain awareness of the alchemical process of the mind and body connection. Even if one is a beginner, meditating on the images can produce flashes of awareness and understanding of the secret dakinis.Not once, not twice I was amazed at the accuracy and the hidden revealed.This book can be read over and over again and each time new meaning and understanding may come to light.The Secret Dakinis is one of the best books in the market for no nonsense healing.It is based on the ancient tarot and adds a funky new age flavour that is mixed with timeless future insights.

The essence of Tantra, contrary to the understanding of most Westerners, is not just sexual, but the Vibrancy and Unification with the One Self. This curious deck, which I got some years ago, continues to invoke the ambiguous and the mysterious, the intrinsically visually sub-consciousness which acts as an inner Flame of perception....Not a deck for explanations, but one of essence and inner reaching and silence. Take your time. Listen to the Visuals....!

The cards are the best option, the book is a quick convenience (for in the moment reading) and also makes a good accompaniment to the cards.Some years ago I had a deck of Dakini cards which I used fairly regularly (daily). The reading detail is excellent, covering the physical, psychological & energetic levels as well as the sub-concious.Due to the detail provided, making interpretations yourself is minimised. They can be used indefinitely (you don't outgrow them) because of the extent of Universal Truth covered by them and may continually deepen your perceptive understanding of what is meant. Thus, the Dakini cards/book are the best I have come across in intuitive reading materials.I no longer have the cards, but came across this book at a bargain price & thought I'd try it. You can open a random page instead of picking a card, but you know the book goes up in number sequence. So loose cards have less placement fixture, enabling the picking process to be MORE random. Also, for life and bigger scale readings than the present moment, you need the cards to make the multi-card patterns, depicting periods of time in a process/journey.

I've had this deck for many years and use it constantly -- I choose a card each day to meditate upon. I find doing this really rewarding. Penny Slinger's collage illustrations are gorgeous and draw you in. It's true, as others have written, that this is not really a deck for an absolute Tarot beginner, but if you feel attracted to it, don't let that stop you. And don't feel you have to know Tantric symbolism to work with this deck effectively, though I would highly recommend getting the instruction book. The deck's very spiritually deep -- and it has a sense of humor!

The book itself is faded and the oracle cards were not included, absolute waste of $30.00, this is the most unsatisfactory purchase I've ever had on Amazon, bar none.
