I Really like this Release! adjustability and function are great! The folding release portion is a huge plus!

Make sure you test the release out before your return window is up. It kept tearing my D loop up, until I had to replace it. There’s a vertical line as if the hook is two pieces put together. You can feel that line if you run your fingernail across it. It acts like a sharp razor cutting through the d loop every time you shoot. Check the pic I uploaded to see it. Maybe mine was just a defective one. I switched to a spot hogg wiseguy and no more torn d loop.

I had been frustrated with my past wrist releases. They all worked flawlessly but were always banging at inopportune times while I was in the deer stand. The foldback option of the Tru Fire Hardcore is a great idea! I can climb into my stand, glass, use my rangefinder, text all without the untimely bump of my release hitting on something. Additionally, the release works flawlessly and has a great range of adjustments to make it fit to how I want to use it.

Being a noob I tightened this down like my life depended on it and the next day my wrist was swollen like the neck of a pelican that just ate a tuna. Then I found the adjustment for the depth between wrist and d-loop "lol".When all was said and done I was shooting a brand new sas feud set at 55# ,20 yard shots with golf ball size groups in about 30 shots.Last bow I shot was about 43 years ago and both bow and arrow where of grand fiberglass construction.Needless to say this is a top notch piece of equipment that allows easy positioning of the hook into and out of the d- loop.

Works not quite as padded as original

The strep is comfortable, but the head is stiff and doesn’t pivot or swivel smoothly. My greatest concern is the design of the hook and how it clears the D-loop. The hook doesn’t really open entirely or completely get out of the way. I even called Feradyn and they told me “the force of the bow string makes it clear the hook”. That’s not a good design. The hook should completely clear or pivot out of the way and cleanly release the D-loop. I can’t return it, so I’ll be selling this one and buy a Scott.

Tru fire products are amazing fits a wide range.

My previous release was a “claw” variety. Frankly, I liked that style better. Had to resight my bow because it kept torquing right after I changed over to this one. I find the “fold back “ design to be convenient in some instances, but mostly a PIA. It’s never where you need it when you need it, and god help you if you have gloves on! Decent release, but I definitely need more practice time with it. If you’re switching from a claw style, don’t expect this to be a painless change over

This is a really great release that allows you to adjust the length of the release. The buckle is comfortable and silent!
