Amazing Antenna!!
I purchased 2 Antennas and my beam.I usually setup my 5 element on the flat side on heavy steel pole with my Yaesu rotor.I then used to put my Antron above it never had any issues except for my station being more powerful than the Antron could handle not always meaning the wattage but not happy with the ears compared to my transmit performance as well.I put the Vector 4000 together the directions basically suck and you can find better info online which I did like the mm to inches conversion.Ive been doing this so long I could put all these together in my sleep pretty much.Ive owned just about every antenna out there over the years anyway I constructed it per the measurements I found online everything was fine a few little tweaks here and there but not too hard the biggest challenge I found was setting the swr you can either play with it for hours adjusting the gamma or you can use the mfj antenna analyzer which took me all of 5 mins to get a 1:2 across the bands all the way into 28 mhz no problem without the analyzer it's a pain in the ass remember the rod that is adjustable and has to be pulled out a bit also the gamma clamp goes up near the top do yourself a favor and invest in an analyzer about 150.00 used u can always sell it again.I elected to keep mine.I got the Vector 4000 up using my Ranger 69 BASE with like 50 to 75 watts drive I have many amps but I tested with a 8-transistor with about 1000-1500 watts swing on AM and SSB remember the vector can definitely handle up to 3000 watts no problem. The performance on this Antenna proved itself the first day I tested it the transmit and ears on this thing is AMAZING! This is 7/8 th wave of transmit destruction 😂 This is definitely in my top 3 antennas category.I hope this helps some people also I recommend using some loctite on the top stinger set screw and putting some little self tappers screws into the little holes on the loop to prevent any movement you can always upgrade the hardware provided but the rest worked fine for me.73s subscribe to my channel if you need any more help "Cool Tech & Gadgets Cb on YouTube.73s 555' Tampa Bay Florida

Great ears and good transmit
I bought this because I don't have a lot of room. I was very impressed how easy it went together. But the tuning rod was bit challenging. After I hooked it up. I was shocked how well the receive was. During the day. I get 6 to 10 S units of skip. At night, I can hear radios as far as 100 miles away. I was able to shoot skip with my 3 watt president Mckinney radio. I talked to 10 US states and 1 guy in Spain and the UK. Unbelievable. This a keeper. But we are starting our winter. I hope it can hold up with the snow. I will update. But over-all. It is a fantastic antenna. Just make sure you lock tight the top antenna screw and seal it. I sealed every open joint and clamps. Didn't change my swr at all. The swr is 1.1.0 on channel 1 and 1.2.0 on channel 40. I'm very happy.

Good but could be better
Like others reported the top stripped before even hand tightening it and had to tap it. The rest is self tapping into somewhat flimsy aluminum. Also the instructions aren't the best but once you see where they are going with it it's pretty obvious. The good is that even after converting mm to inches in RF terms eyeballing it I got a 1.2 SWR right out of the gate with no adjustments sitting on the test pole a few feet off the ground. I don't think I will be raising this one too much higher than the roofline. I doubt it will need it. even so it's getting guy wires. It is a massive antenna. How long it will last remains to be seen. If they would have made this with just a little stronger aluminum and maybe the joints stronger this would be a 5 star even if it meant a slight bump in price/shipping and overall weight you were putting in the air.

Works good
The bolts are kinda kinda cheap, I snapped 2 heads off and the Allen screw for top stripped with just a snug tightening. Other than that easy to put together. Swr isn't to bad 1.4 on ch1 and 1.3 on chan 40.

The Best 10-11 Meter Base Antenna I Have Ever Used.
I have used an Imax 2000, Antron 99, and a Shakesphere Big Stick. Nothing comes close to how well this antenna receives and transmits. Bandwidth is good on both 10 and 11 meters for hams that like to talk on CB too. 2 Mhz of good resonance. Only downside is vunerability to the wind. I had a storm actually pull the entire chimney the antenna was mounted to off the house! The antenna survived that amazingly well, but I needed to buy a second antenna to get 2 broken aluminum rods that Sirio would not provide to repair it. Emailed several times for support to purchase parts with absolutely no response. Put the repaired antenna back up but this time with guy ropes to keep the mast steady. Those are a must for this antenna.

Does not transmit well.
The antenna receives well; however, it lacks in transmitting. If you are thinking about purchasing a new antenna, get the Vector 4000.

Highest gain omni I've ever owned
I have owned and partaken in the installation and use of all kinds of omnidirectional antennas in my day, including the Ringo Ranger, Antron/Solarcon A99, Shakespeare Big Stick, CLR-2 and most recently the Sirio GPE 27 5/8-wave ground plane. None can touch the receive and transmit power of this antenna. Although assembly was a bit time consuming for an omni, the directions were well written. I had to tweak the gamma and tip just a bit, but easily got a great SWR. Performance is noticeably improved over my GPE-27, which ate A99's for breakfast. This is mounted at 35 feet at the base and it towers 68 feet up at the tip. I'm talking everywhere. This is the most powerful antenna in the Sirio lineup, hands down. Worth every penny of the 200 bucks I spent on it!

What I needed
I would still be using it if I had put guide wires on it . Elevated it to high and a storm blew it over and bent it up . My stupid mistake . I would recommend it ,the time I was able to use it it was outstanding .
