Playstation 2 Rock Band Special Edition

This game is so much fun! My 15 year old son mowed lawns to make the money to buy this game. He wanted to do it on his own, and as a parent I was worried that he would work so hard and spend his money foolishly. This game did not disappoint either one of us. It is something the whole family can enjoy together, unlike most of the video games he owns that only one or two people can play at a time. And with 4 kids, any game that I see them taking turns without being "instructed" makes me happy. Would absolutely suggest this game!

This is a great buy in the fact that it's not too expensive and that it has the microphone, drum set, and guitar all in one box for one price! Everything works extremely well, and the condition of the shipping was very good. The best thing about having this drum set is that it works for Guitar Hero games that use a drum set as well, so you're pretty much getting it for 2 games. You can also buy a pack of cymbal expansions for a more realistic drumming experience if you want to. Overall I am extremely happy to have bought this product and recommend it for buyers looking to save money but keep the quality of a more expensive product.

This set immediately turned my house in to the local karaoke bar. Super fun. If you have a good surround sound system, you can get out the leather pants, tease up the hair, and pretend you are really a rock star.

Did not receive drum pedal, guitar in poor shape and barely working. Not worth the price at all. Returned.

My two thirteen years old daughters get great enjoyment from Rock Band. Unfortunately, the drum kit is not properly designed to take the beating given it by children. (Many other reviewers also said the same thing and had the same experience I did.) On the third day, the drum peddle broke in half, and about three weeks later one of the end drums broke off from its cantilevered support. Right now it's held together with duct tape and crazy glue until I can find time to send it back.

This game is pretty awesome. Parents might want to be cautioned as to some of the music tho. Make sure your child is mature enough to play this. Some of the bands names these days could be objectionable. The game is great tho otherwise. The only problem is the quality of the instruments is somewhat lacking they could be more durable. Make sure your kids don't get too in to this game or they will start acting like rock stars and the next thing you know your their roadie trying to glue there equipment back together. My girlfriends kids destroyed the instruments with a quickness. Luckily I won a gift card from Microsoft to buy this or else it could have gotten ugly. As this was not exactly a cheap game to purchase. Other than that which I guess is just a warning this game is excellent. I have never had to move around to play a game before and playing the drums was a blast. It was nice to play a game with the boy that didn't involve shooting something or hacking or blowing something up and trying to kill it as many times as possible. If you have been timid about getting into the music game side of gaming go ahead and take the plunge it is a whole lot of fun for the whole family everyone loves to play this game around my house even tho we only have the microphone survivor.

Great game with plenty of music to select from. Works perfectly with Guitar Hero guitars. Only wish the drum kit wasn't so loud. Otherwise, it keeps the 15 year old entertained for hours and he gets to jam to his Dad's music. We play as a family and have had some great bonding moments. A perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday evening in...even our friends get in on the action and now the basement has become a music studio for even the most musically uninclined!

The game was perfect but I think my tv was too old to properly calibrate it. The seller was very kind, responsive and cooperative when I chose to return it. I appreciate great customer service
