Softer than you might think
I got this so I could brush out my favorite fluffy yarn (furry) microfiber coat. It works well for that. I was hesitant because I didn't know if it would damage the fibers or tear them out. None of my concerns were realized. The bristles are thin and gentle enough that I can brush my velvet couch with no problems, but they are firm enough to hold their shape pretty well.

Works great.
This is the second one of these we've purchased. Lost the first one (of three years) during a move. More likely still in a box somewhere waiting to be unpacked with the next move.Anyway, we like it. Works great for pet hair on furniture and clothing. Easy to clean out the bristles.

The real deal
I was skeptical when purchasing. I had originally bought a boar's bristle brush since that's what old school suit makers use. The brush did not remove lint the way I anticipated. So, I figured for a few bucks, why not try this one? I tried to remove stubborn lint from a fleece jacket. If you own one of these jackets, you know they are notoriously hard to clean and attract EVERYTHING. Imagine my surprise when the lint went literally flying off. Happy with this purchase and just goes to show that sometimes the old way is best.P.S. I would trust this with delicate clothing...the wires are very bendy, and I would barely classify them as being "stiff," they are certainly rigid but with a giving quality that you don't have to worry about it ripping a hole in your delicates.

Works Well, Comfortable to Hold
I have a light-colored golden retriever and wear a lot of dark clothing. I have one of these upstairs, one downstairs, and just bought one for the car. This works way better than those cheap lint roller things. I love the wooden handle. Feels solid and sturdy in my hand. I use my upstairs brush every day, and I've had to replace it about every eight to ten months because of wear and tear on the bristles. It would be great if I didn't, but it's inexpensive to replace, gentle on my clothes, and works better than those lint rollers which you also have to replace. I recommend this brush for any pet owner.

Used by three-generations of our family
Nothing to dislike about this item. I don't know how anyone lives without a good wire brush. It removes lint from and freshens-up clothing. It removes pet hair from everything better than anything else. I can wax poetic about this lint brush, but you have to get one and prove it to yourself.

Who knew you used brass to comb cashmere
I was going to return a cashmere sweater to Nordstrom because it was pilling. A personal shopper there told me that cashmere liked to be brushed (don't use a sweater shaver) to detangle the long fibers and make the pills disappear. He used this brass brush so I bought it on the spot. It is so gentle on sweaters (which you would not think brass would be) and super effective. Love the way my sweaters look and wear now. Great on cashmere jackets and overcoats too. Who knew???

Ok wire brush
Not as stiff as the wire brush that I had for 35years that came up missing, but works ok for defuzzing my tops.

Well worth it!!
I had one of these brushes for many years and it kept working. I don’t know what I did with it but luckily I have an Amazon account and found it again.
