I haven't check the freshness date, just assuming it is fresh. Highest quality dog food I have found. I also add home cooked veggies and chicken to it.an 18 lbs bag does not fill a food container like other dog foods, because it is extremely dense food, no dry filler fluff in it.

I have been giving this to my dog for over five years and he loves it. His bowel movements are always regular as a result. His coat is also very shiny and eyes clear which I attribute to this food. Recently, in the last year or two this product has also included little grain balls which are even more yummy given my dog’s overjoyed reaction as he devours those first!Love that it’s not grain free given recent medical studies.

I have a Cane Corso that eats 4-6 cups of food a day, so make no mistake about it, this food costs me between $300-400/month. That said, it’s worth every penny. She is sensitive to both chicken and beef, and this is one of the few foods I’ve found that contains neither product. So her dry skin, gas, yeast problems, and loose stools are all gone. She’s just a healthy dog, and I attribute it largely to this food. To help minimize the cost, I’ll add toppers to this so I can use less kibble. I’ll add some turkey broth, or some raw meat, or some of the stews from Honest Kitchen, and that helps me still meet her caloric needs (she’s a working dog) while being able to stretch the time between dropping $90 on a relatively small bag of kibble. But even without the toppers, I’d say the quality of this kibble makes the price worth it, as I can literally see the health benefits play out before my eyes. So, as long as this is available, it’ll be the only dog food I buy.

My dogs love this and get crazy excited about it every time they eat. Their coats look great and I am confident I am giving them quality food.

I have two dogs, a 1 year old golden retriever and a 4 year old beagle. Both are in great health but wanted to make sure we stuck with an all natural, organic dog food. Recently, my beagle has been sneezing and backward sneezing like crazy. I know everyone is having bad allergies this year but it recently became alot more than usual. She would eat her food at dinner but not in the morning. I switched to the chicken and sweet potato and she gulped that down this morning. My golden has been great, her coat is super soft. Didn't help too too much on the shedding though.Has anyone else's dog experienced a fish allergy?

Easy online ordering of my pup's favorite food. Good healthy stuff! The shipping box was too large for the interior contents so the box busted open. So the outer box was open when delivered, but all contents were unharmed inside.

We bought two bags of kibble and raw bites which you have to pay a premium for and when we opened both bags to dump in our sealed good container to keep fresh not a single salmon bite. We had to dump the food in case it was a bad batch. Too risky to feed out dog. They don’t sell locally at Whole Foods anymore or they only carry small bags now which you would have to buy weekly. Love the food but not this order plus the premium price we paid.

This is excellent dry dog food (also the canned dog food) and covers all the nutritional needs and more for your dog’s health. If you can afford the price, it’s well worth it. Think of it this way : the extra you will pay for premium dog food will save money in much costlier vet bills.
