Great for kids that need practice really thinking through a problem.
My third book from this set, really great for my homeschool grandaughter. She is in 8th grade and has a hard time thinking outside the box, these books have really helped her with following directions, "stop and think" mode, and finding and using clues for problem solving. Some exercises are a little challenging for her 8th grade level, but the book is supposed to be appropriate for a student up to 12th grade. Definitely a good choice.

While I think it is a great book and some of the activities are very thought ...
I bought this to use as a supplement for my 10th grade daughter. I just needed her to think and maybe use some skills that she wasn't really having to use with typical curriculum. While I think it is a great book and some of the activities are very thought provoking, I do not feel like you could use this as a stand alone curriculum for a student. The website and the representative I spoke with both implied that it could be used alone and I think that is very misleading. If you just need some added activities to stimulate thinking skills, this is a great companion BUT if you are looking for a stand alone curriculum, this is not it.

Challenging for 7th grade
Challenging book -- we used this as a summer study tool for my daughter, who is entering 7th grade and takes honors classes. For grades 7-12, and it was definitely a challenge but doable. The problems really do require thinking and the answers are not obvious. I think this book will definitely help with standardized test practice.

Great!
This is the 4th book my child has used and I find them to be very beneficial. The content is simple but are things that are helpful. I've run out of books at this point but I'll keep looking. Thanks!

Love
Love this entire series. I believe my kids have grown as they go through each section slowly building on a skill. We will stick with this series as we move forward.
