I switched to this product on Amazon because the company I used to purchase a masque from wanted to charge a $7 shipping fee, but because my shipping is free through my Prime membership I switched to this product.

I like it so much!!

I love camphor based face masks! This one has a very strong medicinal scent, but it’s highly effective. It’s a very thick white consistency, and can be used as a spot treatment for acne or all over your face. After using it one time, my skin felt clean, fresh, and much smoother. My pores were tightened and my skin was more radiant and even-toned. It can be a bit drying, so be sure to use a good moisturizer afterwards! As with with other camphor masks, you may experience some breakouts a few days after using this. That used to freak me out, until my dermatologist told me that meant the mask was working because it had drawn out impurities and brought them closer to the surface. If you do experience some new breakouts (usually tiny clusters for me), try not to panic and continue using this mask. I use it as a spot treatment when that happens, and within a few days my skin becomes more clear! I used this mask 3 days ago and did have a few new breakouts around my mouth and chin, but they were short lived. Using hydrocolloid acne patches helped speed up the healing process too.This may seem a bit pricey for the size, but a little goes a long way! It should last a long time. I highly recommend trying it!*Is it just me or does this look like the Kate Spade logo on the jar? That’s the only thing that bugs me!! 😅Hope this helps. 💝

To me, this was a pretty unimpressive mask. It is a white paste type stuff that is a bit challenging to get out of your hair and likes to stick in any acne scars or other indentations you may have in your face, neck, forehead or wherever you decide to apply it. It is pasty going on, takes a bit more of the product to cover the face than a gel mask and dries white on the face.After it sets for about 20 minutes just wipe it off with a washcloth. If you decide to use this mask you may want to set aside a washcloth just for wiping this off your face. Just as it is a little tough to get out of your hair, it's pretty tough to get it out of a washcloth. Usually you can just rub a warm washcloth over your face to get a mask off (at least any one I've used in the past) and it comes off easily and washes out of the washcloth easily too. This one stays in the washcloth.Once it is off your face, the skin feels clean, not dry, not tight and for me, it didn't feel like it really did anything at all. Maybe after using it a few more times I'll come to like it more. It almost feels too gentle. Maybe by the time I've used up most of the container I'll come to like it more but for now I prefer the Luxe Joie gel mask.Luxe Joie makes a variety of great skin care products at very reasonable prices and while this is probably my least favorite I've absolutely loved every other product of theirs I've tried.

I've been experimenting with a variety of facial masque cleansing products, trying to determine which are best for my particular complexion issues -- dull skin punctuated by oily patches around the nostrils and forehead that can produce whiteheads around the former area and small but unsightly outbreaks of pimples on the latter, particularly at the brows during the cold weather when hat-wearing exacerbates the problem. This mask does a reasonable job treating these issues. The dullness around the cheeks, jaw-line, and temple areas are left notably brighter, the oily areas and cleaned up without excess dryness, and the occasional eruption of pimples on the brows and forehead reduced and heal faster when they do happen. My experience with this product is that it works as well as some others I've tired and rather better than many. It's retail price is quite a bargain, however, all the more so as this masque spreads easily and therefore lasts longer than some other brands. These factors give it an advantage over some of its competitors.
