Replacement Remote for Insignia Roku TV Model Year 2016 2017 2018 2019 (Model Number Ending 16, 17, 18 or 19)

This remote does exactly what it says it will do. Once I put batteries in it, I turned on the TV for which I'd somehow lost the remote and everything worked like a charm. The buttons on this replacement are slightly flatter and smoother, so they are not as friendly to my greasy fingers while I'm snacking and want to browse my options without interruption. I have to sit up a bit and actually look at the buttons, which impedes the velocity at which I can cram potato chips and such into my face. That said, it never advertised itself as snacking friendly, just as a perfectly good replacement remote for my TV, which it is, so 5 stars.

This remote looks like the original remote but is very cheaply made. You have to point the remote directly at the sensor and sometimes it still dont work. Vol control is especially hard, it will work after multiple times and getting it in the right spot towards the tv sensor. Durability is just as poor, it was dropped one time from about 3 foot and it totally broke apart and cracked the casing. Save your money and purchase the name brand remote as this one will not last and is junk..

I have an Insignia TV with Built-in Roku, model number NS-39DR510NA17. This remote simply does not work. I have tried different batteries; tried starting with the TV off vs TV on... this remote doesn’t work. I’m not sure what’s the deal with all of the other reviews, but buy elsewhere. I am seeking a refund now, or else I will have to contact my credit card company. Don’t waste your time or money!

It looks and feels almost like the original remote control that came with my 55 in. Insignia Roku TV. I had to do nothing to get it to work with my TV, besides installing the batteries. My original remote control was beyond repair after having dropped it on our hard-surface floor plenty of times (lost count), the volume button didn't work. The only complaint that I have is that this control has to be pointed to the TV directly -- the original control would work if I pointed to the ceiling or a wall. Like I said in the headline of this review: almost as good as the original.

I am not sure about all of the negative reviews. I seriously wonder if they ordered the correct remote for their TV. If you match the serial number to the remote, you should have zero problems. I know several folks that have ordered these. One did not work - but the incorrect remote was ordered. It was returned for the correct remote and there was instant success. All I had to do was pop in some good batteries and I was off and running. So, double check the serial number of your TV and order the proper remote. You won't be disappointed.

The one I bought was defected the arrow button on the left wasn't working at all. They sent me a replacement and the power button had been damaged so I used the first one they sent to turn it on. After 15 min the same arrow button as with the other one stop working. I found the original one on Ebay had no problems with it .

Got the remote 2 days early than what i was expecting... Opened the package, installed batteries and Voila!!!! no programming was needed and worked instantly for my Insignia Smart TV!! Man we missed having a remote. SO VERY THANKFUL IT ARRIVED EARLY :)

I am so glad that the seller had these remotes available to ship out soon after placing my order! The remote works right out of the package, all I had to do was add batteries and turn on the television. The buttons are a bit stiff in comparison to the original remote that came with the television, but that’s a minor thing.Please be mindful this remote is for Insignia Televisions not the separate Roku box. The reviews that mention it didn’t work I suspect are trying to use this solely with the Roku box.

I have a Westinghouse Roku TV. For some reason, I cannot find a replacement remote for this particular TV brand / make. This Insignia Roku TV Model Year 2016 2017 2018 2019 remote actually works for my Westinghouse 55 HDTV Roku TV. I like it. Also, someone mentioned this makes "clicks". I think TV remote controls are supposed to click... that is why they are also nicknamed "clickers".

seemed to work great out of the box, all was good... however, after less than 3 months it has stopped working. Has not been dropped or abused...Tried new batteries, no change. Not expensive but I expected better lifespan than this.

As some others mentioned in the reviews the remote needs to be pointed DIRECTLY at the television in order for it to work, as opposed to my original remote which was less picky. Other than that the remote works great and is just like the original except for a couple of different app options on the buttons, which I never use anyway. This remote has the Netflix button which is convenient.

Worked right out of the box! Synced with my TV without issue. We’ve had this for about a month now and it works perfectly.
