It Was Okay
Not what I was expecting. I'd seen a lot of positive reviews so decided to purchase. It's a bunch of one page opinions and memories. Really felt like I was reading a teenagers Tumblr page circa 2013, not a book by a distinguished person in fashion. It was interesting and a super quick and easy read, as most of the book was pictures....not that the pictures typically aligned with what was written. If that's what you're looking for, you might enjoy it but I'd also recommend Amanda Brooks' "Always Pack a Party Dress". Easy read with lots of photos, but edited to be cohesive, informative, and inspiring.

Not worth the hype
Ok. This book was nothing better than ok. Honestly, I probably should have only given it two stars it was that bad. I personally love fashion and I have read and liked numerous other "fashion insider" books but this one basically felt like a joke. The only remotely interesting thing in this book is when Alexa references the people that inspire her fashion choices. But, if you also feel that Jeremy Irons floppy hair makes you want to wear burberry and miu miu then you and Alexa are two of a kind (anyone who read the book will know what I am referring too). Her whole post on "how to take a selfie" was so bad I couldn't read the whole thing. The whole book feels like she took her "I try to look like I don't care but I do" attitude a little too far. She honestly gives no worthwhile advice or even puts an effort into making the book interesting. If your are going to spend $30 on a book, buy Grace Coddington's Memoir! She is the stylist for Vogue US and that book seriously inspired me so much more than this crap. I wish someone would have told me how bad this book was and I would have been $30 richer.

A fun book for fans
Found a signed copy from a seller here on Amazon in excellent condition. Arrived ahead of estimated delivery date, well packaged. Thank you rhino-claremont. Definitely did not need a signed copy, but for not much more than buying new at regular price, it was a nice touch and excellent find.I was well aware before purchasing that this book would not be a heavy read. Alexa has stated in numerous interviews the text portion of this book was taken from e-mails and napkins, and she herself is not tech-saavy nor is she a writer. However, for any fan of Alexa this is a great little memento to flip through for visuals and quick musings to read.

Worth Reading
Fun to read. I read it in one night, and sat up most of the night to do it. I enjoyed reading about how Ms. Chung developed her style, the people from whom she drew her inspiration, as well as art and films. It's more of a guide on how to develop your own sense of style, rather than a "what-to-wear" guide, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't that type of book. However, if you want to know how to create a style that's perfect for you, and find clothing and accessories that you will enjoy wearing, this book gives you plenty of ideas about how to look for inspiration and guidance.

Wonderful book
Easy and wonderful read, one that you can read over and over again or jump into at random. It reads like a conversation, and makes you wish more and more along the way you were actually sitting down with Alexa Chung. I refer back to this book often and will forever be one of my favorite comfort reads

Inspiration and fun to look through
I bought this looking for something to have like a fashion magazine to inspire me, and give me a little upbeat and off beat look. That's exactly what it is.If you're looking for some serious "this is my life and this is how I got here" story, you'll be disappointed.I love paging through it when I have a little time to kill, or keep it at work (a salon) for clients to look through while they're waiting.

It review
This book is absolutely amazing. I'm a huge fan of Alexa Chung, so I guess that's influencing my words right now, but really, the book was quite interesting. It was more of a bloggy type book (as in, it was more her rambling about trends, necessities, clothes). So, it wasn't a novel, I would say. But overall, I loved it. If you have time, give it a read. The actual book itself (as in, the design of the book) was also really cute and indie. I've never held a book made of that type of material before.

Meh!
Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of Alexa Chung. Personally, I have never understood the charm of her as a presenter but even I can admit that she has style. She is type of girl that manages to wear the clothes, they don’t wear her. With this in mind, I decided to give her book It a try. I have to admit, I have mixed opinions. Whilst it is written well – by this I mean the actual words on the page – the actual narrative is so very disjointed and erratic. It veers from memoir to fashion advice in a rather willy-nilly fashion. It was interesting to learn more about Alexa Chung from her own perspective rather than the catwalk personality.Overall, It is an interesting and quick read. The photographs are quirky and appealing but it is far too disjointed for my personal taste. It by Alexa Chung is available now.

no biography just fan trivia
pretty book, nice cover, makes for a lovely present. The book itself is just her talking a load of waffle about herself and stuff that she likes e.g. celebrities and fashion icons she admires, talking about her own style, a bit about her past, trivia any fan would love to know. This book is NOT a biography. I enjoyed it

Beautifully put together.
I never much cared for Alexa Chung but I saw this book in urban outfitters and loved the aesthetic of it. I had to buy it and wasn't disappointed. I read the whole thing in order although it's not a book you have to do that with and I sometimes flick to a random page to look at since finishing it.

For fans of Chung
Bought this as a gift for a Alexa Chung Fan. Delivered within 2 days, no problems there. Presentation of the book is very nice, the cover looks lovely. There isn't actually a lot of writing and I was able to read all the written content within 1 hour. It would be good for someone who is into Fashion and Chung.

Love this book
Love this book, I've had it in the past but had to give it to my friend as she was obsessed with it. The only issue is this book I recently ordered has black splodges all down the front cover. This is kind of a shame as it was going to be on a coffee table on show...When it comes to the actual book I would recommend as a kind of fashion picture book (tumbr kind of style), I wouldnt recommend if youre looking for a fashion book for a good read i.e if youre travelling or something.
