Teak Shield Stain Protector

One, it's a great product. Two, It was delivered just days after I ordered it! My patio furniture restoration project didn't miss a beat!

I work in a higher end golf course and this is what our maintenance team recommended cause they use it on all the stuff at our resort. Trust them whole heartedly and they were not wrong thus far. The stuff applied really nicely, not very strong fumes, table looks great! Seems to be holding up well, albeit I only used it a few months ago.

The Protector I hated... I turned all my teak a very unnatural orange color. I stripped of the protector with the cleaner again and applied Golden Care's clear shield (sold separate) and was much better at preserving the natural color. Several months later it is still good and holding its color. Looks like I will probably have to clean and seal once a year. I live in the Tropics where temps are always warm so our teak patio furniture gets used constantly.

Good product and only wish it would last a little longer. I have learned the hard way to cover my teak furniture (and in the process learned how to refinish teak). No color impact as described and easy to use. Dries to completely smooth/no stickiness (which looks and feels nice on a freshly sanded table). After having a bad experience with true orange coming through using teak oil, I skipped altogether and applied to the bare wood. Looks great and no issues with water/spills/food. Will use again!

This is the only product I’ll use on my outdoor teak furniture. It’s easy to apply after the cleaning process and the color is really a nice warm teak tone. Price is very good for this product. Will continue to buy this along with the cleaner and sealer.

Nothing is wrong with the product. Bottle was delivered damaged. Luckily I had another bottle to pour the liquid out of the damaged bottle. Biggest upset is not to get any of this product on concrete surfaces, oh well. Still love the product. Not looking for anything back. Just please be careful with delivery. I'm basing my stars on product and not delivery.

I was really looking forward to no more water drops and rings on our teak table, but this didn’t do anything to fix the problem. Every drop of water leaves a mark even if immediately wiped away. The good news is I was able to remove the spots by hosing down the table and wiping it dry, but what a pain. Save your money.

I followed the instructions, did two coats of teal shield, let it dry few days before using for first time.. when something fatty dripped on the table. It absorbed into table as if nothing was applied. Not possible to clean it. Every water drop also soaked right in thought dries without leaving a mark. I’m not sure what is the purpose of this shield. Very disappointed.
