Easy to make and very tasty
We have tried the white and brown rice as well as the spaghetti and love them all. My partner is a Type 1 diabetic and is always trying to find foods that help us control the carb intake. We have tried giving cauliflower products a try, but he didn't care for them because they were too bland. These hearts of palm products are just perfect. I add a little sauce to the spaghetti, maybe some mushrooms, and cook up some meatballs in the air fryer. For the rice, we cooked up steak strips, added some white rice hearts of palm, sweet peppers, mushrooms, and green onions, and it tastes yummy. And the calories are low as well. We highly recommend giving it a try.

Low Carb & fun to eat!
Does not taste like pasta but has a more fresh flavor, (I love heart of palm anyway) and twirls on your fork so it gives the spaghetti experience. It’s fun to eat and try with different sauces. I prefer it with a scampi or Alfredo sauce. I sauté it briefly before adding a sauce and then cook it through thoroughly in whichever sauce I am using. It’s a quick dish and guilt and gluten free! A bit pricy but the best pasta supplement I’ve found.

Tastes Horrible
I gave it 1 star because it won't let me give a ZERO! This stuff is nasty tasting. It made me gag. I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews. It does not take on the flavor of any sauce and the horrible flavor overpowers anything you add to it.

These are a great substitute
I love them. Do you have them in other forms. Like elbow or lasagna? The texture is the same as regular spaghetti.

Not pasta, but not bad
First, it does not taste or feel like real pasta, but it is not bad and is a good alternative to spiralizing zucchini. It tastes like hearts of palm because that is what it is. It is ready to serve in 2 minutes, and topped with a bold sauce (I made a thick and zesty meat sauce last night), it was very enjoyable as long as I was not comparing it to semolina pasta. If you can accept it for what it is, a good and quick dinner component, I think you'll be very happy with it. The "pasta" is only 4 to 6 inches long because hearts of palm are short, so you are not going to be able to twirl it around a fork. It is a bit expensive when you do the math on the cost per serving, so I won't be purchasing it on a regular basis, but I will be purchasing it from time to time, because it is a good product if you accept it for what it is - a vegetable in a format you can use in place of pasta as an option. The package says it is 2.5 servings. As a side dish, that would be the case. If you are looking for a plate of pasta, then each box is a single serving and you have to calculate the carbs and calories based on the whole 2.5 servings. I split the bag between me and my husband, and it was delicious.

Finally, a pasta substitute I can enjoy
I've been doing low carb (Atkins) for many years (since 2003), and more recently, keto since January 2019. So I've tried my share of LC/Keto products over the years - the majority of which were, to put it nicely, not worth buying again. I recently heard about this hearts of palm pasta from Steve on Serious Keto. I bought the 6 box pack (living dangerously!) of the spaghetti. Tonight I opened the box, and inside was a vacuum-sealed packet of rather spaghetti-appearing "pasta" - I opened the packet and dumped the contents into a skillet with a couple tablespoons of olive oil and tossed it around til hot. Divided that between husband and me in our pasta bowls, added browned and seasoned ground beef, some cooked mushrooms, and 1/2 cup Rao's Marinara Sauce (fairly low carb at 4 grams per half cup serving) - nuked it all up and we sat down to try it. Does it taste exactly like pasta? Nope. But it's a far cry from those nasty smelly shiratake noodles that you have to rinse forever and then dry-fry to make edible. It's less flavor than spaghetti squash, so doesn't "fight" with your toppings. It's somewhat reminiscent of zoodles but better texture IMHO. Now I'm very glad I have four more boxes! Pasta pesto, Puttanesca sauce, Alfredo with chicken and broccoli - yup, we'll be eating all those in the coming weeks. Would I buy it again? Yes! Is it pricey? Yes - but we don't eat pasta dishes too often so it's not gonna break the bank. Will be trying the lasagna too!

Gluten Free Pasta
Hearts of Palm pasta is a departure from flour pasta for sure but it’s a pretty good facsimile. Texture is spaghetti-like. Smell is neutral. Taste takes on whatever sauce is used. I think red sauce will taste better than the lemon caper sauce I used. If you can’t have gluten, this is definitely worth a try.
