For Everything a Season

Chittister's discussion of Ecclesiastes 12 "For everything there is a season" chapter is not what any of us expected when we started our discussion in Sunday School! Every chapter stretched us, made us think outside the box, and challenged us to live better lives! We were truly sorry when we finished the last page. I have given it as gifts to several friends for their own devotional reading and will use it during Lent for my own study and reflection -- again. It is a powerful book that certainly makes the 12th chapter of Ecclesiastes come alive in 2014.

Excellent A BOOK THAT SHOULD BE READ BY EVERYONE FOR EVERY SEASON GOING THROUGH IN LIFE. WILL PROBABLY READ SEVERAL TIMES IN LIFE. MUCH WISDOM LIES WITHIN THE PAGES. THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS BOOK.

This was a thought provoking inspiring book to read. The only reason for 4 instead of five stars were that a few of the chapters were less compelling than the best chapters.

Very interesting book with much to ponder and savor.

Sister Joan always speaks to me in such a way that I'm touched deeply. Her writing always leaves me in thought and asking myself- "So how has this wisdom offer me growth?"

Great guidelines for spiritual living at all life stages. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a map to get back on track to living a purposeful life.

Wonderful book! My highlighter ran out. She has such great insight into life. I recommend it to everyone. Would be a great book study.
