VWM630 Cold Air Return - 6 in x 30 in Victorian Style Wall Mount - Overall Dimensions 8 in x 32 in

I ordered 2 6x30 return vents with the overall dementions of 8x32, these would have worked wonderfully... If they were the right size. The sticker, as pictured, states they are the size I ordered, but as you can see in the next picture, the length of the product is nowhere near that, measuring in at 24 inches. I am upset, I was waiting for these to come in so I can replace the oversized monstrosities and finish painting my livingroom walls, looks like I'm not doing that for a bit.UPDATE: was sent replacements and these were the correct vent covers, they were as expected, yes they are plastic, but they look great and are much better on the eyes than the ugly oversized vents our house came with. Happy with my purchase, other than the mishap in the beginning, the company was quick to reply to my issue and it was corrected, so for that I was going to give 4 stars, but the quick reply and the fact that they are as pictured gives them a 5. Attached photo of them installed.

Looks great. Was the exact size. Screw holes aligned perfectly. Yes it would be nice if it was not plastic but I am not mounting in the floor where it could be stepped on and can't imagine how it could break. The detail is quite good . I purchased two the larger of the two I installed right from the package and the smaller one I spray painted to match the room. The price maybe a little on the high side as they are plastic however, they were exactly what I was looking for to replace some dated ugly metal grates. The installation could not have been easier and they look great. No regrets here!

Overall, it’s a decent looking vent cover. It’s just weird that the seller gets it from Home Depot and not their own merchandise. Got the invoice and it was from Home Depot to the seller.

We had a plain old metal grate with off white paint. This one is solid thick white plastic and the design is awesome. I'm so happy with it.

I painted it with satin bronze Rust-Oleum Universal metallic spray paint and it turned out great. Be ready to do 3-4 or more layers of paint as this grill’s shape is complex and it is difficult to cover all the curves in even 2-3 times. Also, as others recommended, make sure to paint the internal guts of air vent with matte black spray paint. You can see well through this grill and any stuff that is not black inside will be visible.

The product is beautiful. It fit the opening and looks vintage, but it has a slight bow that causes the center to lift away from the wall about 3/8 of an inch. Probably from cooling after the plastic injection molding process. Tried to take some of the bend out with a hair dryer but only about half is possible. A molded screw hole to fasten in the center would help solve the problem. I put a screw though one of the scroll openings that disappears in the pattern.

I was expecting this product to be made out of cheap plastic but was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. It adds a bit of charm to plan vents.

Way to much money for these vents and it's just plastic. But up on the top the wall placed in there hole they do looks good
