Set screws won’t stay tight enough to keep in place with a IPad

Works well, a lot better then the 3D printed mounts I made. It holds everything well, although a little big to fit into the grip. feel like i am going to damage the rubber if I force it a secure amount. Also very forward heavy, not very well balanced. The placing of the phone is good, doesn't interfere with the controls. I have a Mavic 2 controller though, which has an LCD, and this covered it up. reducing the information i have available. would be great if it could place the phone lower.

I haven't had any experience with the plastic versions of these types of holders and I really didn't want to with all the mixed reviews. This is on the pricier side but the only part that is plastic is the actual piece that holds the phone or tablet. I've tried my S21 Ultra and my Lenovo M8 8 inch tablet and no movement with great grip. You can keep the case on if you want if it's a thinner case. The joints come plenty stiff enough to not move once put in the position you want but it comes with tools should you want to tighten it more. Great buy if you don't mind spending a little more for something that will probably last you longer than plastic junk.

After flying my DJI Mavic 2 Zoom I realized I wanted a larger screen. So I decided to purchase a stand for my iPad. I bought a plastic one first thinking I'd save some money. But that was a mistake. It wasn't Sturdy enough and I wanted to use a lanyard to give me support and the plastic one didn't support a lanyard. So I replaced it with this Anbee Foldable Aluminum Tablet Stand. It's less expensive than other aluminum stands that do the same thing. I highly recommend this stand for the DJI Mavic products.

The overall design is okay, and the product is very well made. however, the spring loaded holding grip for the tablet is too small and the tablet can easily slip from the small grips that supposedly hold the tablet in place. There needs to be a retention mechanism to prevent the tablet from possibly falling from the holder. The body of the unit is aluminum, but the holding clamp for the tablet is made of plastic and uses springs to hold the tablet. It looks like they forgot to finish the tablet attachment with the same quality as the aluminum base. Another worry is the possibility of the controller coming apart from the aluminum frame. It is not as secure as it should be, so I must continually check that everything is secure...I don't want to drop the controller or the tablet.

Looks nice and the workmanship is superb! But—-the design is poor if they made it for the Mavic 2 Pro Controller. Two major flaws in the design, they did not design it in a way to fit into the groove on the underneath side of the controller. The second which I consider more of a problem is the knuckle joints while they look nice they do not stay tight and your tablet sort of flops around and will not stay at a good angle to view your drones flight. If they had a way to lock the angle once you establish what is the correct angle for your use, this would be a great product. Oops almost forgot****the bracket they ship for attachment of a mini iPad is cheap plastic! Why they went to the trouble of milling a nice piece of aluminum and then lower the value of a well made product with a cheap plastic bracket is for one reason only. To keep it cheap! I’ll be sending mine back for a refund.

Fast shipment. The perfect holder for my Mavic Air controller. Very sturdy. Great quality materials, nicely packaged. The only thing I wish is is if there was some type of fold out legs to distribute the weight more evenly so I could stand it up on a table with my Samsung S9 in it without falling over (It does stand up when connected to the controller without the phone). That said this is exactly as advertised and what I hoped for in terms of a phone/tablet holder for my drone.** Update - I actually am able to stand it up with the phone on it. It's all about balancing the phone position with the mount. This makes it the perfect phone/tablet holder IMO

I bought this to use with my Iphone Xs Max. My phone does fit in the controller easily enough, but I have to take the phone out of it's case to put it in the controller, kind of a PITA to have to do that every time, so I bought this to hold my phone while the phone is still in it's case. It works really well for that, but I have recently purchased a Ipad Mini5 to use as the display for the controller and this mount works really well for the Ipad also. Only real drawback is that it's another piece of gear that you have to remember to take with you, but still worth it.
