nice bits but they do wear down
I bought these to drill holes in a variety of ceramic pots that I bought for planting. They work nicely but do take longer than you might expect (when using lighter pressure so as not to crack the pot). I am on my second order now because after several uses the bits noticeably wear down and become less effective.

Cutting glass
These work pretty well. I bought them to drill holes in wine bottles. If you are buying them for that purpose, you might want to buy smaller lights or a different bit set. The largest one didn't provide a big enough hole for the lights to string through and I had to make the whole larger. I used the largest bit and it worked, but I was terrified I was going to shatter the bottle. They do their job and hold up well. Don't appear to be dulled after the extended use.

glass drill
These drills arrived as described. I used the larger of the drills and it did a fine job. I am new to drilling glass. I've heard that you should use turpentine as a coolant/lubricant. I didn't bother. The drilling went well, though there were some chips taken out of the initial side of the glass that I would have preferred not to have. Perhaps I need to learn more about the process. I'm satisfied, what can say about a glass drill? The price was right.

good for the price.
I got these to make some bottle lamps and they turned out just fine, but it was as if the bits didn't want to do their job. it took about 45 min a bottle. Not sure if thats the thickness of the glass or the quality of the bits at play but all together its a good product.

Worked just great.
We were installing grab bars (Moen Kingsley- see review on that, too) for my elderly parents in a tub unit that was lined with common 4" white ceramic tiles. We needed these drill bits to prevent some ugly cracking in the tiles. They were fantastic. They appear a bit rough when you look at them but that is to be expected, of course. They were used on a Makita cordless drill at low speed and we had ZERO problems. I would highly recommend them and especially at this price.

Piece of junk (actually 4 pieces of Junk)
It took me 30 minutes and 2 full battery charges on my drill to make just one hole in a porcelain floor tile. I thought that it was just that particular bit and for the second hole I have used a different bit of a larger diameter from the same set. Another 30 minutes later I was fed up. On a bright side: the holes came out just fine.Added as a result of comments (below): Be aware: the bits apparently are NOT for porcelain tiles. So if you are not sure which tiles you have - porcelain or ceramic - play safe and buy bits that can drill both.

These worked well for a wine bottle project although by the time I did a second bottle they were taking way longer to cut through I would only expect them to work for maybe a couple more and then be done.

They do the job
I used this product to put a hole in a glass bottle. The bits work well I must warn you that this kind of drilling takes forever. Dont bother trying to speed up the process by going faster the glass will break.
