I’m in love with my cauldron! After searching for months for the “perfect” one I finally came across this one by New Age Imports. Although it’s only 4 inches, it’s a nice size and bigger than I was expecting it to be. It’s perfect for what I need it for (burning small things like herbs, paper, etc) and it’s wonderful that the 4inch option came with a lid so I can do my burning indoors if I wish and can quickly and easily put the fire out. It’s quite heavy and super sturdy, but still very aesthetically pleasing. Simple yet sofisticated. The cast iron is beautiful and it’s definitely not spray painted like many others I’ve seen. This little pot will likely last a lifetime. I’ve had it for a few months now.. I usually try to wait a while before posting my reviews to make sure I get the full effect and unbiased opinion. This 4-inch diameter cauldron is a great value and was close in price to others that were only 2-3 inches in diameter. I find this size much more versatile than the smaller versions while still fitting neatly on my tabletop. I love that the tripod legs sit firmly on a standard 4-inch stone coaster. The lid is a definite plus, and the wire bail handle is sturdy and well attached. The cast iron is hefty, looks pleasingly rustic, and has not chipped or rusted with 3 months of weekly use. Upon receipt, I cleaned and lightly oiled the entire cauldron and lid and put it in a hot oven for about an hour to season. So far it has been easy to wipe clean after each use. Dimensions: 4-inch interior bowl width; 6-inch exterior width with handles; 2.75-inch interior bowl depth; 3.75-inch height without lid, including the legs; 5-inch height with lid, including the legs. This should last a lifetime with standard cast iron cleaning and care.

This cauldron is absolutely perfect! It is solid and heavy. Not sure why others complained it is too small, it's larger than how people described it. In one of the photos I posted, I placed a large charcoal inside so you can get a sense of its size. I primarily bought it to be a censer but I could imagine this would be perfect for other uses as well (except probably cooking food). It looks really cool in person and love that it has a dark handle - I think the silver handled ones look cheap and lack the rustic look this one has. I also dig that it has a solid cover to put out, or control, burning and smoke. For the price, this was a great deal and overall was a great purchase.

Love it, nice size, great prize

This cauldron is the perfect size for spellwork and is made of a thick, heavy-duty cast iron. I love that it has a lid to easily put out flames and smother smoke. Also, the hanging handle is nice if you need to move it while hot to avoid burning yourself. This looks great on my altar and is very well made. I also love that it is plain and doesn't have any Wiccan symbolism for those of us who practice a different craft.

Small but cute. Durable, solid piece of metal.
