I didn't realize I was responsible for the battery pack in the Honeywell alarm system, but now that I know I am glad finding a replacement is just this easy.Out with the old, in with the new and my alarm has quit beeping during power outages.Just be sure to check which type of clip you have before ordering.

My alarm system had a “low battery” alert and it was driving me crazy. Every 3 hours it would start beeping every few minutes nonstop until I hit the disarm button, waking me up throughout the night and causing the monitoring company to call me to alert me. I was waiting for the alarm company to call me back about a replacement when I googled the barcode number, found this, ordered, received and installed it in less than 24 hours. It was extremely easy to install, just plug in. It is larger than the original one but that was no issue, my panel is set up to accommodate both sizes. It took a few hours for the low battery alert to go away but it’s gone now.

I am assuming these will last a good long time, much longer than my orig. OEM set that are much smaller in capacity, and physical size. My OEM OriG set that came with my unit lasted about ~7 years, so since these might not discharge a much (less charge/discharge cycles) then these might last longer than that even if we had more common power outages, but we shall see...These do plug into a different connector/jack in the unit than the OriG factory.I think I might mod the dead batt.-pack I removed to use eneloops in a bank when this dies to make use of the orig. connector from the former batts.

I ordered this battery October 1.. one month later November 8 my ADT alarm says Battery is low and needs to be replaced..I very disappointed in this product and company... I will call Amazon Customer Service and return to sender... Mr Irving

Factory Ademco item, no 2nds or clones here! Fit perfect, installed per instructions. I have a Linx Touch 5200 and it has a connector for the smaller batter (2 pin Molex) and this larger battery (3 pin Molex with the center pin empty). This battery just plugs right in and uses the 2nd set of holes for the battery strap just like the manual says. Came charged and did not give me a battery warning when I installed it. Tested it after a few hours by removing power, worked great. Easy as pie to change.

My old battery was over eight years old and according to specs, it was time to replace it. It was very easy to research on how to open alarm panel and install a new battery.And it was very easy to determine exactly which battery to purchase. When I installed the new battery pack, it seemed to be fully charged.
