Elastic band at the top is not very thick. They run a little smaller than they should for the size.

I got the correct fit and I find that the leg holes are a bit uncomfortable like they are either cut to small for the size or the fabric just does not have enough stretch. The fabric is ok but not very soft and the stretch quality is lacking. I would not buy these again.

Photo was misleading. These hipsters have an elastic band for a waist which is aggravating to my lumbar scar. It actually is scratchy. The last packet I received from Hanes ultimate was perfect: fit, comfort, and waistband + leg openings were both covered in cotton. I’ve been waiting for an alternative to Jockey who have not added any new colors to the Elantra hipster line in a long time AND the thread used is old. Once I wore these wonderful answers to my problems with garments made for the female sex, you abruptly ran out of something that is POPULAR for a reason. Please inform me if or when those, I ordered last time come in. My chance to switch to Hanes Ultimate from Jockey all cotton hipsters may not be doable. Go ahead - shoot your company in the foot! Then you can sell all the other poorly made options that are everywhere and still unsold. Why not give the less than stellar versions away to people without skin conditions or scars? There are plenty of women in need?
