This book was simply amazing
I would recommend it to anyone starting or thinking about starting a business. The different mindset gems in this book are worth more than any program I have taken on business

Good, until he talked about the environment and environmentalists
Stopped reading after chapter 4: "Do Not Pursue Perfection." Specifically on the section titled "Myth #3: Business Harms the Environment."I was pretty surprised and appalled by his conservative position regarding the environment, and the clumsy justifications he used to reinforce his views.1. "To me it is not accidental that the Bible never describes God as creating 'nature.'" (Page 155) What? In the book of Genesis, did not God instruct Noah to build an arc for the sole purpose of preserving humanity and all manners of wildlife, some of whom are threatened and face extinction resulting from climate change wrought from big businesses? The author argues that the preservation of nature is not the priority of some and that it is perfectly all right. Furthermore, he specifically states that our connection to aspects of nature should not be attributed to the qualities of nature itself but specifically to our special relationship "at the moment."2. "The strong emotions that environmentalism evokes are chiefly the consequence of beliefs rather than facts...there is legitimate debate on both sides of global warming and neither side has provided compelling evidence that would finally remove the issue from debate." (Page 156) I flipped to the first page of the book to make sure it wasn't published in 1988. Its 1st edition was in 2010. Three years after the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its report in 2007.3. "If you believe and are convinced that, for instance, no more important value exists than prolonging life span, you would be justified in prohibiting all activities that could abbreviate national life span averages [including skydiving and mountain climbing.]" (Page 158). By this point, I was prepared to cast the book aside and move on to more sincere literature. The author seems to suggest a correlation between activities which pose significant risk only to the individual who willfully chooses to participate in it and a destructive business action, spurred by government policy, that can and will result in the loss of countless wildlife, the ruination of the environment, loss of home, and the deaths of millions upon millions of victims.I have no intention of finishing the book and will award the book 2 stars for some of the legitimate advice it provided in the preceding chapters related to finance and relationship-building.In good conscience, I cannot recommend it.

Much more broad in scope, but a good read
I'm not sure how to review this book in just a few words, but I do recommend the read. The title isn't misleading, but I would have perhaps sub-titled it "Ten Commandments to be Successful."

Ancient Wisdom
There is nothing new under the sun, but it has been forgotten. The good Rabbi has reminded us what so many of us have forgotten. The universe works for you if only you, at first work for it. This book should be an addition to Proverbs in the Bible as it is a book of ancient wisdom.

One of those books one needed to read decades ago. It’s never to late!
A definite eye opener for me. Rabbi has answered many of my questions that seemed either unanswered or just plain BS from people I’ve known. Having started a business recently and heard all the negatives about doing such, this book puts to shame all of my alleged friends. I have value now and the ability to affect all the lives that come in contact with myself and my trade. The last chapter plainly aligned my sights on retirement and why I could never give a yes or no answer to anyone who would ask it of me. Definitely NOT RETIRED! Thank you Rabbi Lapin.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME BOOK!
I picked up this book as a result of Rabbi Lapin's interview with Pastor Benny Hinn whom I deeply respect.I am completely blown away by the content, it is definitely life transforming for me. Though the topic is on money but Rabbi Lapin sheds valuable insight into other matters such as retirement, charity and coincidence and many more.I am totally in agreement that there is no such thing as coincidence - it simply does not exist, at least not in my life and am now 41. I also love the stories that he gives to support his convictions on every subject.I find myself highlighting the better part of the book but this will enable me now go back and put to work his recommendations - especially on getting acquainted with numbers. I have bought his recommended book, that is why I love kindle, and I have also downloaded a personal financial app I will now be making use of.Thank you Rabbi for this book, it was definitely not a coincidence for me. As I read it, I find that it totally relates to the changes that is currently taking place in my life. I am at a point of career Decision and all I really want to do is give.Awesome book indeed - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This book helps dissolve limiting beliefs in business
Truly amazing book. So easy to read and well written. It gives great breakdowns that help dissolve your limiting beliefs about business or feelings of guilt or shame about selling that may hold you back.I have been reading it but by bit and it has helped me value going out and networking more by just building genuine friendships and simply letting people know how you can be of value.Editorially empowering book for more introverted people or people from religious or poor backgrounds littered with judgemental beliefs around Money.Thank you for sharing this book!

Amazing!🏆
I was meant to purchase, "You Revealed: A Torah Path to a Life of Success" but accidentally bought this book. And it was an amazing read. The first chapter tackle the perspective of accepting money as a byproduct of providing a good product or service to others and the last chapter; never retiring from giving others that special service only you know how to deliver. The world needs more good and hardworking people to start businesses. Those people need to read this book, so they realize they are doing God's work on earth.A great book in the style of the 10 commandments, and has easy language to follow. Hard to put down, once you start to read it. It helps you to see business and life from a different perspective.

Relying on ancient teachings
Relying on ancient teachings is not ever bad advice! This book should be essential reading for every 18 year old!I wish I read it when I was much younger but having read it now, at least I can recommend it for younger readers.Well written and great advice in every chapter.

Only two chapters in and loving it
Stunning, absolutely stunning. The beliefs and frames that the author espouses for thinking about making money are turning my thinking around rapidly. I was recommended this book by a businessman friend and for three pounds I think it is worth fifteen times more. Read it, think on and and watch your thinking turn around to a more ethical view of money. Yes, this sounds like an author friend review but I don't know the man (yet!) but I love this book.

Every good turn deserves.................
Its interesting to note that while we come into and exit this world, naked, bald, toothless and penniless, that while we live, we are encouraged to make the most of our time on this earth. It's not a sin to make money so long as we make it through effort and hard work, while appreciating respect for our fellow human neighbours and friends.
