Beam Backpack - The Advanced Solar Powered Backpack Anti Theft Laptop Bag Waterproof Solar Backpack

I really like the bag, it does not come with an internal battery so you can decide to charge whatever you like, you can charge a device directly or loop through a battery or do both, the bag in full sun generates a good charge but being black it absorbs lots of heat, while charging one of my batteries the battery overheated and went into error state as the bag was closed, I would suggest opening the top cell on the bag which lets the heat out of the bag. As I said well designed you just need to use it correctly. I would have given 5 stars if the bag were a little cheaper, or it came with an internal battery of its own. Overall a well made bag that is lightweight and does the job it is meant to do.

I really like the look and feel and quality of this backpack; very urban professional. The slot for A4 paperwork and a laptop is great and well padded too.However, the first problem is it won’t charge your phone when you directly connected to the charging port; you have to press the On button on your charge pack which involves going into your bag. Pointless. And I have other packs that will allow this, so this is a design fail on the Beam not of my battery.The second problem is the main compartment design. When you open it up, all the contents of your pack will spill everywhere as they are not secured by any wall. Equally the way to avoid this is placing the pack “face down” and then the issue is the side pockets are facing the wrong way around so you can’t access them.Lastly when you fit your battery pack it isn’t secured so will flop about internally.All in all, a good quality pack that desperately requires some required retro fitting to make it fit for purpose.

This backpack is very good quality and cool.

I’m so confused I’ve tried literally everything. But even without any electricity it’s been a great bag. I have had it for two days and my favourite feature has to be the key holder. I attached a speaker and small solar panel battery and a Apple Watch charger case.

Brilliant backpack! well built, loads of pockets that you can tell have been well thought through and the solar charging panel works a treat. Easily the best backpack I have owned at a really reasonable price

I love this bag so much it charges up my phone really fast would recomend and people don’t even realise there is a solar panel on the back ( unless you tell them )
