Reasonable replacement for kitchen paper towels.
Cut these in half, serged the cut ends, and now they are our replacements for kitchen paper towels. Would give four stars if I could have bought them in a smaller size and five stars if they let go of stains more easily in the wash. We wash household rags with a 1/4 cup of bleach. The bleach gets the stink out after a few days moldering in the dirty rag bin, but it doesn't get all the stains. Maybe 90%.Not quite as absorbent as I'd hoped based on reviews, but they do the job. The white Amazon Basics washcloths we bought at the same time are superior for absorbancy when it matters.

These are awful.
Not only are they NOT absorbent, they actively REPEL liquid, smearing it around instead of wiping it up, making a worse mess.Unless you WANT them to be dry, that is; then they're still damp after an hour in the dryer on high heat, and my living room has to be strewn with dish towels air-drying.They retain stains that WILL NOT come out, no matter how much bleach is used. I've gone through SO MUCH bleach trying to make them look like they haven't been used to degrease the engine of a semi truck and accomplished nothing but stinking up the house and probably poisoning myself with the fumes.(For the record, they never went anywhere near a truck, just normal household use like drying dishes and mopping up regular spills.)I'm finally done with trying to make them usable; from now on they pick up cat barf and clean the toilet and get thrown out instead of laundered.I hate waste and would normally donate something that wasn't working for me but these are so terrible I'd feel bad about giving them to poor people, who deserve better then these turdburgers.

Excellent Paper Towel Replacement
Love these towels. I recently decided to go paperless in my kitchen and needed a replacement for the paper towels. These do that quite handily. They fold nicely, store easily, do a good job absorbing liquids. They're even big enough that you could cut them in half for a smaller size to clean up smaller messes. Clean up is simple, just throw them in the wash and they're ready to go again. If I ever manage to destroy any of the ones I have, I'll be buying these again.

Below average for weaving
The towels are huck towels so they are lint free and will dry dishes etc... but since I intend to weave on the towels, I was/am disappointed to find lint in some of the weave, the rows distorted and stretched out of shape with crooked hems... I will have to rip out seams, wash and stretch so they are even...

AWFUL
No idea how they will work as they are board stiff and do not look like they will be absorbing anything. Returning

Absorbent, great investment, but not soft
I love these little towels. Since using them our paper towel use has dramically decreased. They are super absorbent, but not soft. I bought the white ones and bleach them. I stack and then lay them flat in a drawer near the sink.

For Swedish weaving, the hems are inside out
I had to tear the hems out to make the towel useful for Swedish weaving
