Seems to work. Watch no longer runs fast.

I have two watches a fifty year old wrist watch and an hundred plus year old Waltham pocket watch both of which were running very fast, I demagnetized the pair and within hours both were running back to normal. I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone. I ordered it on a Saturday and received it on the Sunday it was considerably cheaper than rival sites.

Arrived with a US standard plug fitted, no safety labelling, no instructions, it is not earthed but there is no indication as to it being safely wired i.e. double insulated, also no CE mark. I have cut off the supplied plug and fitted a UK one, the standard of the mains wire is poor very thin gauge. As the unit is only to be used for short periods of a few seconds at a time and it's not expensive I will try it but I do not think it should be offered for sale on the Amazon platform as it doesn't appear legal to me but I'm no expert.

Ironically, I needed to buy this after buying some cheap watch tools and finding they were magnetized. Placing the tool close over the machine while pressing the button and then slowing drawing the tool away while keeping the button pressed works very well. Sometimes a couple of goes are required, but my screw driver bits are no longer magnetized.

I saw some cheaper ones, online, but they were either out of stock or did not deliver to my postal area. Delivery charge was higher than I expected given the size and weight of the package; did not qualify for free delivery. The unit was in new condition and operated perfectly on the first use. Cycled twice and the timepiece recovered its accuracy at once.

All you need to do the job I wanted to do which is demagnetis an antique pocket watch. From running 30 minutes fast and stopping, now running and keeping excellent time, the exact time. Great tool for a fraction of the branded equivalent price. Superb product.
