I’ve had the VonHaus 90” Pull Down Projector Screen for around three years now, and it’s been faultless. The build quality is excellent, and it’s held up really well over time with no sagging or marks on the screen. Installation was straightforward — you can manage it solo with a bit of patience — and once it’s up, it operates smoothly. The picture quality is brilliant when paired with a decent projector, giving you a bright, sharp image even in lower-light settings. For the price, it’s a solid bit of kit that adds a real cinema feel to your setup.

Gets 4 stars. It's an excellent screen and easy to install & use. There were no instructions included but they weren't needed for the installation. However, it would have been useful to know about the smell for the first few days. Make sure the room is well ventilated. The other issue I had was the delivery. Mine was late. The tracking was supplied very quickly but I could then see that my order was picked up by the courier in Central Scotland. It was then sent down to the Midlands, where it sat for over a week. Really annoying as the courier had to pass my house to take it from central Scotland to the Midlands then to come all the way back up into Scotland???

Great screen for the price. No scuffs, no dents and packaged well. I believe the dimensions on the listing are slightly wrong as when I measured the 80" on my fence before I ordered it it only just fitted, yet now the 80" has arrived I believe the 100" would have fitted easily. When pulled down like it is in the picture, the white area is 177cm wide and 100cm high. From the top of the metal casing to the bottom of the screen it is 116cm...I have no idea where they got 145cm from, this is why I didn't think the 100" would fit. Maybe if you pull the entire thing down to it's maximum, but if all the white area is showing, why would you pull it down further? One gripe is that it retracts the screen rather slowly when putting it away. It's like the mechanism is struggling to bring the screen back in, but not a huge issue unless you are constantly putting it up and taking it back down.

The first of these screens I ordered arrived with a large hole ripped in the box, the screen itself looked ok but on hanging it on the wall the screen just slid down out of the case as I assume the impact had knocked the roller out of its seating. As it looked like a nice product I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and re ordered another one straight away, putting the blame on the courier (DX). The second one seemed OK when it arrived, apart from a large scratch which someone had tried to cover with a black marker pen, this was inside the polythene packaging so was passed off by their quality control ! Deciding I could live with this as its high up in a dark room I hung it on the wall and pulled the screen down, so far so good, nice picture from my 1080p projector. However when trying to raise the screen it made a noise like a rusty hinge and crawled about a third of the way back into the case and so has now also been returned. For the price it's probably a decent screen if you can just get one delivered undamaged and that works as advertised.

Great addition to have when you have a projector. My son was using his white wall. But any lumps or bulbs would be amplified he has this over his window so acts as a blackout too when in use ! The pull down feature is great to amd smooth.

Great quality screen and makes such a difference in picture quality as opposed to projecting onto a wall. Easy to install (if you have the space) do measure before buying because it’s really quite big. I got the 90” version. Pulll down and retraction mechanism works great and I did read that it’s best to keep hold of the screen as you retract it and allow it to gently reel itself back as letting go and allowing it to shoot back up can damage the mechanism so bear that in mind. Looks great and performs perfectly and the size and quality is great value for money. This screen weighs 8.66kgs and although that’s not ridiculously heavy, you may need two people to make installation and adjustments easier. Highly recommend

I previously used a thin cheap cloth to project onto a wall (see the last image for comparison, yuck 🤮 ), but this VonHaus (80’) projector screen enhanced my home cinema in my log cabin greatly, the installation was not difficult, you just need two screws to have the unit mounted. The projector screen did not have any creases anywhere unlike my previous projector screen. I primarily watch YouTube, play some retro video games and stream from my phone. The 16:9 aspect ratio covers my use cases. You can adjust how tall you want the screen to be by releasing the handle and if fully rolled down it will go back inside. Even if nothing is being projected on the screen, for me personally I made use of a nearly empty wall that now has purpose. This is projector screen is ideal for those who want a comfortable viewing experience which looks respectable, spend the extra £££.
