They stood up to a 75mph crash!
I've put about 500 miles on these now and they have been great! Although I have not tested out their true potential, the quality and workmanship is outstanding, not to mention the dark blue version looks great. Thanks!10/10/2016 Update: I hit a 4x4 piece of lumber at 75mph and went down while wearing these jeans, a leather jacket, gloves and helmet... these jeans held up to the harsh reality of a motorcycle crash! I am so thankful for the quality and workmanship put into these jeans that I am recommending them to all my friends who ride. Thank you, Scorpion!

The armor is cumbersome to wear, and sometimes I just don't want to deal with it and take them out. Tonight I had the armor in and got into a wreck where I landed on my side while still on the bike. The hip armor - not to mention the fabric material - saved my ass.

Good and not so good
So I'm torn with this one.The good:- Amazing Value- Protection in all the right places- Pockets for hip and knee protection- They absolutely look like normal (baggy) jeans, and that is just great!- They fit over the boot perfectly. The not so good:- The knee pocket for protective pads is too low. It had some velcro inside so I just put velcro on the knee pads and made them hold a little higher.- The knee fabric with the velcro (backside of the velcro) scratches your knee when you're riding. I'd recommend using some kind of layer under the jeans.- People say that's it's too long, and they are right, but the velcro does help to rise the position of the knee pads, and you can fold the bottom part of the legs, which has reflective strips on the inside (hope I just didn't have to fold them). Not ideal, but you can work with it.- The velcro on one side of the hip protection pocket came loose first time I touched it. I sowed it in, so it's fine now, but this should not happen. If the knee pockets were fixed and the pants were just a tad shorter, this would be the perfect purchase. That's why it get's 4 stars and not 5.It is STILL an amazing jean, and I highly recommended if you just do some DIY fixes to it.

Good quality riders pants
First impression, glad I ordered one size up, like most imported items today they do run small. The roughly measured length is 31'' so stretched they might be 32". Not sure about the reflective piece on the inside as some may not need to roll pants up. I rolled mine up about an inch looks a bit funny with the net lining showing, but the lining is a good feature. I had a Sliders 4.0 pants that were getting shabby. I would have ordered another pair but no longer made. The Scorpions are not as loose as sliders and tighter at the belt( same size). I was concerned about them being stiff, but no they are nice and soft and look like denim, but are supposed to be more abrasion resistant. I fit my protective pads in the hips and knees and they fit. So that is good. The knee pads could have been about an 1-2" higher but better than the 4.0 jeans I was replacing . Got to roll the legs inside out to get the pucks in. I bought these pant to ride my motorcycle and be safer, not to strut down the boulevard. They do look nice. BTW I also have a Scorpion helmet and am happy with it, DOT, SNELL rating and fog free shield!

Feels like wearing blankets around your legs
A few major issues with these pants. I'm not new to kevlar jeans/riding pants and these were a huge disappointment.1.) Color: The product pics looked more like "Washed" jeans, however, these came to me bright blue with bleached out leg fronts and butt area's. Totally ridiculous looking.2.) Size: People said these run a little small so I got 34's since my last pair were 34's and also my normal jeans are. These pants are like 40's on me. Waist can't be belted without folding over. Legs are swimming in columns3.) These are the heaviest feeling riding pants I've ever worn. Feels like I'm wearing crochet'd blankets around my legs. Horrible.--Returned for full refund.

Button pops off
These jeans feel heavy duty and thick as designed. Very comfortable though one of the seems meets my bike's tank wrong and I often find myself adjusting the left pant leg. Two issues for me are #1 These jeans are extremely slick and provide almost NO grip to the seat or tank, Highly suggest if riding a Streetbike you consider side tank grip pads.#2 and the most annoying part of them; the button. I have had the button come apart on me almost EVERY SINGLE TIME. It just pops apart, and I've even tried re-clamping it together with pliers; no pop. Seems like just a low compression rubber/nylon lock inside the button which makes it pop apart anytime I am undoing or securing the button. Has not yet come off while wearing them though.

Broken in seconds!
Button broke on first buttoning...and no I am not fat!...pant legs way too long. Gave the company a chance and called ScorpionUSA directly, they never answered...left a voicemail....never heard back. Pants are sweaty hot, when they are supposed to be breathable. Had to but hip and knee protection separately, now it's all going back. Unless you like poor quality and are 6'4 I would avoid this product.

Very comfortable and covert
Ok, I like these. I had to size up one, or the armor which I added to the inside hip pockets looked weird. They feel like soft jeans and don't look like armored at all. They are a little warmer than unarmored jeans. (and am wearing them in 85 Florida weather). They can cool by hiking them up just a bit when I'm on my bike, letting air up the leg, over my boot. The least bulky armor I've now settled into is the SAS-Tec do3 armor.I like em so much, I've got 2 pair.
