It’s pound when u sleep on it and it’s hot. It does not let the mattress breathe so we don’t feel our cooling gel layer of the mattress

Love it comfortable been able to sleep on it greatly my husband had a hip replacementAnd he’s so thankful for it he said it is very comfortable for him

It is not thick, has plastic on the underside...it's to keep messes from going thru & onto mattress, but it makes you sleep fairly hotter than norm.
