Hooked on Books: Transforming the Teaching of Reading

Brilliant- lots of food for thought and a whole way of teaching reading. Now I need to try to implement it!

Good read - though not read all yet! Attended great course by author, book purchased before.

After hearing about Jane Considine last year from colleagues who attended a course, I used her free resources to transform the teaching of reading.Reading this book, has really helped me to adapt my reading sessions and I've already lent the book out to colleagues for their CPD as well.Goodbye dull Guided Reading, Hello to children loving their reading sessions!

Another great book by Jane Considine. This book is packed with great ideas for improving reading and is very readable too! After just two weeks of trying Book Talk with my class I can already see the improvements - I can't wait to see how much my class continue to progress!

Good book which supports the Hooked on Books training.

I bought this after reading 'The Write Stuff' and its brilliant! It's engaging and witty and offers ideas which would be easy to implement in the classroom! Highly recommended!

Another amazing book- easy to read and able to instantly apply within the classroom. Love it and would definitely recommend this along with The Write Stuff book.
