Well, what can I say it is a book by Dr John McDougall! I follow his recipes, theory, have all of his books, love him and his family for what they are teaching us about sickness, dis-ease of the body, food poisoning, yes I said food poisoning, and more. If you don't purchase, rent it first from the Library, then pull up that comfy chair, grab your green tea or water with ice and lemon and READ READ READ. All of his books are complete eye openers for sure.He has been trying to tell us for the last 40 years! We all need to listen, please give it a go.You could save your life and the lives of your loved ones, remember, it is never too late to research and learn about the food we buy and put in our bodies.Keep that open mind everyone, make your own decisions, but it never hurts to consider a change somewhere along the way, and to figure out who is telling you true about the food these days. We really are smarter than some think!To your health! Sign me, way past 60, feeling wonderful, dropped 50 pounds, moves like a 35 year old!

Fantastic Vegan Cookbook.
Book is loaded with super recipes, but also contains charts and other information that is invaluable. Recommend this cook book to any vegan. The book is a paperback and so we took it and had it bound with a spiral binding for ease of use. Worth the money.

Classic
Many good simple recipes. You wont need to use extra kitchen appliances. Immersion blender, hi speed blender, a food processor all not necessary Just good food which nonvegans love too.

Just buy the $5 app... way cheaper.
Pretty good, definitely helpful. I feel like it does use several ingredients that I don’t usually buy, and the recipes can seem a bit plain at times but there are quite a few good ones that I’ve gleaned from it. He has a five dollar app that probably has all of these recipes on it.. or, you could go to his website where there are many free recipes. Just save the link on your cell phone’s homepage.

Do your health a huge favor
Rarely in life does a person find true simple answers to seemingly complex problems. In His books you will find one of the most important truths NUTRITION. Dr McDougalls books explain how you can be as responsible as possible for your own health. Forget what you were taught in school. The facts about a vegan diet are in and there are no versions only the truth. If you want to be in the best health possible Dr McDougall will tell you how to help yourself. His wifes recipes will show you how to eat healthy without spending all day doing it. Try it for a month. It works!

Some Good Recipes
I know someone who had great success following the McDougall Diet. It is too limiting for me to commit too, and can be expensive. Unfortunately, healthy food tends to be more expensive and more difficult to find. My husband and I did find some recipes that we will continue to use. Many of the recipes also make a ton of food and cutting them down to an amount that two people could eat before it went bad was at times difficult.

One more cookbook to help with Plant based lifestyle
I have several books by Dr. McDougall. They are all very informative. I am always on the lookout for additional ways to prepare the food we now enjoy. With a Texan, retired firefighter, as a spouse, I needed to come up with recipes that are different and not all just soup and a big salad. Dr. McDougall's books all have wonderful helpful information and include at least some of he and his wife's recipes they have developed over the past years and are willing to share.

This is my favorite cookbook! I love all McDougall's recipes because they are easy and use "normal" ingredients. I originally bought it at a used book store, but since have ordered many more for my friends. All the recipes are so good, I never feel deprived. I eat until I'm full. I've been cooking this way for 6 years and lost weight, but no longer worry about gaining it back. I am so thankful for John McDougall! PS: His website has so many inspirational success stories that are also so inspiring.
