Works GREAT in the Shower
While recovering from an incredibly stupid leg injury, I've had to wear a lower leg soft cast that can't get wet. It is currently 11 bazillion degrees where I live, and showering is quite important. Other cast covers are plastic with some elastic over them, and back in the day when I had to wear a full length leg cast for weeks, they didn't work well. I saw this silicone thing and thought... that can't possibly work, but here, take my money. It's pretty much a one size fits all thing and looks like a wet suit for a hammerhead shark... and once again, I thought... this isn't going to end well.Call me shocked and very surprised to slip that thing on and have it literally adhere to my upper leg comfortably, but confidently tight. Since it is one size fits all, it's HUGE, so be careful getting into the shower, it can be a bit slippery and there's extra stuff flopping around, but no leaks. NONE, perfectly dry!I towel it off, then hang it on the towel rack to dry for the next day.Lightweight, comfortable, and best of all, no leaks at all. It's a bit "fragile" so be careful not to puncture it, but overall, this is a life saver. Easy on, easy off, easy to dry, folds up and goes back into the baggie it arrived in.If you need a leg to remain dry, this is the cover for you. Instructions say you can swim in it but caution not to keep it on for extended periods of time because your leg will sweat and then your cast gets wet and then doctors will glare at you.

works great, kept my wound dry
The doctor recommended one of those super wide ones that are clear.I got one, but only for my ankle, but the bandages after surgery came up higher, so I couldn't use it.I bought this on a whim, it looked less awkward. It's great, a lot less bulky. It does seal at the top, but I used hospital tape to double seal it, just in case. That's fine by me, if I can get away from using that other stupid one.I hang it up to dry after the shower, it stays clean.

Works great!!
A little $$ for a piece of rubber but it works. My cast stayed dry 100% just as the PT said it would...

Great for EASY water play.
We got these for our teenage son and at first, they worked really well. They were easy to get on and take off. But he is a 16-year-old active water child and it wasn't long before a little water started to seep in through the leg seal. I would say he got about 6 or 7 uses before there was water. They were great for the beach and keeping sand out, great for lounging or wading in the pool. Water did get in when he was in the ocean or was doing any swimming (especially in the deep end). It took only about two weeks for the band to rip at the top when he was putting it on. But again, he is a really active kid. All in all, it was totally worth the money and gave him some relief during the summer months. I suspect on a less active person they'd be perfect.

Very HARD to use!
This cast cover is IMPOSSIBLE to put on over ANY KIND OF BRACE/BOOT! I worked and stretched and pulled within reason before I could get it over my cast and boot! EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO USE! I purchased another companies product that works much much better!

sizing
works great and seals great, but if you have an injury at the lower part of your leg buy the short adult one. the long adult one, is super long, it’s about 4 feet long.

Awesome!
Had ankle surgery and have a pool. This worked perfectly! Easy to get on and off. Wore all summer, almost every day. Not on leak. Was most comfortable when getting into water, stop before water gets to top of boot and let some air out. Just pull it away from your leg at the top and let it "burp".This thing made my summer! Love it!
